36 Weeks_Baby Hammar 2 and 3

How Far Along: 36 weeks

Size of babies: size of cantaloupes

Weight gain: 60 lbs (as of 8/19)

Maternity Clothes: All maternity

Gender: our sweet girls!

Movement: Yes, they are still very active. They haven't slowed down. I love seeing them move around. I hope they are being sweet to each other. :)

Sleep: Sleep is awful. I'm having contractions every night. It's so uncomfortable to lay down. Hate to complain...but I'm great during the day. Just can't stand the sleeping part...or lack of sleeping.

Symptoms: Swelling (I know it's not bad compared to other people, but it's crazy for me because I've never seen myself swollen ever...I didn't swell while I was pregnant with TJH) and heavy tummy

What I miss: My non maternity clothes. It's hard having a limited wardrobe for work. I'm making it work, but I will be happy to be in my normal clothes. Praying all of this weight will come off in a timely manner. :)

Cravings: Cookie cake, bacon biscuits, and Granny Smith apples

Best Moment this week: Carrying these girls another week successfully! My kids and co-workers have been so sweet and helpful to me! And I am SOOO thankful for my sweet husband! He's doing everything right now...and I can't stand it and feel horrible but he's really trying to help me keep these girls in as long as possible!

What I am looking forward to: My doctors appointment next week. I'm looking forward to what my doctor says at 37 weeks!

G and Grandpa Visit

G and Grandpa have been missing TJH and us of course...so they came for a visit! And it was a blessing because they came the night that the Mr. had class. TJH has SOO much fun with his grandparents!

After dinner TJH and Grandpa had a dancing session! 

After TJH went to bed the pups wanted GMama's attention! :)

And they joined Grandpa for a nap!

Before Grandpa left for his trip the next morning, TJH took a cute picture with him! GMama stayed for more play time! 

GMama, TJH and the Mr. ran some errands and got some things done around the house, which was so nice! TJH got a soft pretzel at Sam's! YUM!!! 

TJH loves all the attention and fun that is brought to him when his grandparents come. :) The Mr. and I are so thankful for the extra hands and help...especially since I'm out of commission at the moment.

• I LOVED being pregnant with TJH the ENTIRE time. I've enjoyed parts of this pregnancy. PARTS is the key word.
• If you haven't read the book "The Duckling Get a Cookie!?" you should, it's hilarious! It's from the same writer, Mo Willems, as "Don't Let the Piegon Drive the Bus" books.
• I felt super out of the loop Monday morning about the VMA's but after watchin parts of them I'm okay with being out of the loop. Maybe I'm just old now, but hold up...eww!
• Tucker's hugs make EVERYTHING better...he knows how to really squeeze you! :)
•  I've always felt better with a pantry filled with groceries...the Mr. did excellent job of this this week!
• I know it will get old fast, but I LOVE the Hump Day camel...just makes me smile.
• I LOVE that the Mr. added some PINK flowers to our yard for the arrival of our two sweet girls. :)

Simple Moments

I love how one little picture can capture a moment, a person, or an event.

 

I posted this picture yesterday on Instagram and it made me smile so much and I hope that it brought a smile to my friends and families faces. :)

 

This little boy brings the most happiness I've ever expereicned in my entire life. I can't even express how he makes me feel all the time. He's been so paitent with me in these past couple of weeks. I feel like the WORST mommy ever to him, and I know everyone has told me that he won't remember. But I still feel awful. I'm so glad he's so forgiving. And I will make it up to him. I have enjoyed the moments that he's been extra snugglying with me. It's like he knows I need them. :)

 

I'm so glad he enjoys the simple things in life and I hope that the Mr. and I can instill that in him forever. Our evenings are filled with simple things these days. I love him, our simple evenings and all the simple moments.

 

I know things are going to quickly change for me, this sweet boy and my supportive husband. But I'm excited and ready! :)

 

 

Weekend Wonders!

What a wonderful weekend! I share with you about Saturday afternoon/evening but there was so much other fun in our weekend too!

Friday night we just hung out at home and I went to bed early. Needed to get my feet up. :) We cooked pizza and played at home. So nice!

Saturday morning the Mr. and TJH headed to the Farmer's Market. I stayed back and rested and kept my feet up some more. 

And they ran into some friends, so T played with R! 

Then they came home and TJH went down for his nap and I headed to the spa! The Mr. had given me a prenatal massage and facial for our 5th anniversary and I cashed it in! It was so nice! And it helped soo much with the swelling in my feet. 

After I got home TJH woke up and we all had lunch together and played some more!

We got the Bunbo out for baby T to use when they were coming over and TJH took it upon himself to sit in it! :) 

Then I was surprised with a blow out with J and a yummy dinner with all four of us! 

Sunday was similar to the rest of the weekend...lots of playing and resting!

It was so cool in the morning that we played outside for a while and TJH's feet were covered in grass! :)

The Mr. built a fort for them to play in. 

The Mr. brought in the shop-vac to vacuum and it really scared TJH...he LOVES the normal vacuum but the shop-vac is super loud. So, Daddy gave TJH a sucker to apologize! 

He loved his first taste of a Carmel-Apple Pop...don't worry he didn't even make a dent in it. 

Weekends are wonderful with my two boys! I am so blessed to be able to play and rest with the two of them!

We have the very best friends ever!!

J and T and the Mr. planned a super fun afternoon/evening for all of us! 

J whisked me away to go get blow-outs done! There is a new place in our town that is called Tease and they specialize in washing/drying and then styling your hair! :)  Well, J and I were so excited about this opening because both have very thick/curly/frizzy hair. We had so much fun! And we even had a 10 min head massage! So relaxing! 

So the Mr. and T kept the boys and played at home while we were gone! And also picked up hibachi for dinner! YUM! So as soon we got home we had dinner waiting  on us!

It was such a fun afternoon/evening with our best friends! 

Last little fling before the twins arrive! Of course we will still see and hang out with them all the time, but it was super fun to do something special! :) 

35 Weeks_Baby Hammar 2 and 3

How Far Along: 35 weeks

Size of babies:  size of honeydew melons

Weight gain: 60 lbs (as of 8/19) Yup, that's a lot! 

Maternity Clothes: All maternity 

Gender: girls!

Movement: Yes of course! I have busy girls in my tummy! They haven't slowed down one bit. I LOVE all of their movement and I can't wait to see if it's true how they are inside my tummy is the same when they are born. :)

Sleep: Sleep is a thing of the past. I have started taking a sleeping aid to try to help. It allows me to get a window of about 3 hours a sleep in a row. But other than that I'm up every 1-1.5 hours because of comfort or potty breaks. 

Symptoms: Nothing new really...heavy tummy and swelling. 

What I miss: Sushi and being able to do things for myself and TJH. :( I hate feeling helpless. 

Cravings: Buffalo chicken salads, pizza, and Nutty Buddys! :) As you can see I've been hungry this week! 

Best Moment this week: We had another good doc appointment this week. My doc is very confident in my body and carrying these sweet girls! She went ahead and scheduled my c-section because she said there is no room for Baby A to flip head down. I have come to terms with having a c-section and prayed about it a lot. I trust my docotor and her decsions. She believes that I will go 38.5 weeks because that's when she scheduled my c-section. It's crazy to know the girls birthday(I mean if they don't decied to come before then.) and to know when I will meet them! :)

What I am looking forward to: Another successful week of carrying two baby girls!  I'm praying that I make it to my c-section date for a couple of reasons...I want my doc to do my c-section. And I would like to keep them in as long as possible for weight gain. 

Doggie Love

As I've said many times, we have wonderful neighbors...J and M! And we LOVE their doggies just like our own! TJH LOVES Flik and Lilo! He squeals when they come to our back door and he loves playing with them in the backyard. But he really enjoys them coming over to our house to hang out during the day!

Flik is so good because TJH can lay all over him and he's so calm and loving towards him.

It's wonderful to have such great neighbors that are apart of our lives! :) We love yall!

The girls bow holder is filled and this doesn't include the 12 bows that are packed for the hospital. :)

Lucy is a Daddy's girl for sure, but she does show me extra love when I'm pregnant! :)

The Mr. is good about sending me pictures of Tuck when he first wakes up...I love how he's resting his head while he eats his breakfast...it's hard being 18 months! :)

I'm not sure how this is even comfortable, but I love how Ethel will make her self comfy on me anyways she can! 

TJH got a hold of my baked BBQ chips! YUM! And as you can see Lucy wanted some too! 

It's wonderful how a simple picture can bring so much happiness!
