EKH & OCH...life with twins so far! :)

Life has been great adjusting to three children under the age of 19 months.

First thing I learned really quickly...it's okay to rely on help. It doesn't make me less of a mama...

The girls are so sweet...I thought I always wanted boys...and especially after having Tucker I was like boys are so awesome. Well, girls are just as amazing! :) Being a girl mama is SO much fun!

TJH enjoyed having his cousin here while were in the hospital...they played and played and played!

Being a family of 5 has been so fun...we haven't ventured out anywhere with all of us together...that will happen soon enough.

I've said it a million times, but I am beyond blessed to be married to such an amazing man! He's the best husband and the most amazing Daddy ever.

TJH, EKH, and OCH are so lucky to have him as their Daddy!

:)

Dressing the girls has been so fun...and I know it will only get more fun! They are always in matching clothes and even pjs! :)

EKH has acid reflux so we have been working through that with her. She is on her second meds now but they seem to be working way better!

They are both great at nursing. Last week when we went to our nursing group both girls were getting 3-4 ounces per feeding. And both gaining weight. I was so relieved because of them losing some of their birth weight...but they are both gaining weight and over their birth weights now.

TJH has been adjusting pretty well...he shows a lot of interest in the girls when they are in their carseats, swings or if one is crying in our arms. He has been nothing but sweet towards them. He will hug and kiss them.

We don't have the girls sleeping together right now...they have been elevated for 30-45 minutes after eating so they sleeping in their own cribs in the Nap Nannys. But I hope they can sleep together soon...even if it's just for naps. :)

I have also learned very quickly never to compare your children...they are all different and it's okay if one isn't like the other...that's what makes them special.

Life with twins has been nothing but wonderful! And of course life with three under 19 months has been awesome! Maybe a bit busy at times but good so far! :)

Coming Home!

Friday morning started the discharge process for me and the girls. We were so excited that we would be taking the girls home with us of course! That is something we prayed about a lot! Our docs came around and checked all of us one last time. We were set to go home!

We snapped a picture with our VERY favorite nurse! April was my nurse the day the girls were born and she was the girls nurse on our last day! We were so grateful for all of her love, care and support! She was apart of two very important days for our girls!

Just hanging out before checking out.

All fo us loaded up...headed home! We pulled in our drive way at noon on the dot!

TJH was so excited to see us and his baby sisters!

They were happy to be home! :)

Sweet boy!

The rest of our afternoon was adjusting to home life with three babies! I was so excited to be home and be with TJH...I missed him SO much!

We had a wonderful hospital stay...and a great homecoming!

We are so blessed! :)
