2010 in Pictures!

    So long 2010...

2010...was a blessed year for the Hammarlunds!:
    • January started the year our right with my FIL and Dad's birthdays!
    • We brought our first house in 2010...our pride and joy!
    • February was a big month: bought our first house, found out our little Ethel was born(and got to meet her!), one of my best friends got married, my other best friend told me she was pregnant, celebrated Nana's last birthday, and celebrated the Mr. and MIL's birthdays too.
    • March was great too, I traveled to Orlando for a conference for school. We settled into our new home and visited Ethel often until we could bring her home! We celebrated LK's birthday!
    • April was wonderful, we brought home Ethel on Easter weekend! Had a wonderful housewarming party to have all of our friends and family come see our new home.
    • May we celebrated graduations for B from our small group and for B(Mr.s brother)! Finished up my first year of teaching! Had a fun lake trip with J and M!
    • In June I signed up for my first 1/2 Marathon, taught Summer School (which was a great blessing for the money but a horrible experience).
    • July was great! I went to the BEST conference for school ever called Confratute! We traveled down to the Keys for family vacation! And wrapped up the summer with a tan!
    • August was the beginning of my second year teaching and we celebrated 2 years of marriage! Sweet Nana went to be with Jesus in August as well.
    • September was filled with UGA football games, get togethers and celebrating Nana's life!
    • October was filled with pumpkin fun, more football games, sweet K's bday, completing my first 1/2 Marathon and my best friend's baby being born!!!
    • November brought a special 21st birthday for my sister B, fun weddings and Thanksgiving at our house!
    • December was so fun! Our first time decorating for Christmas in our new home, Ethel's first time in snow and lovely family time! O and I got a year older!

Overall 2010 was amazing! We were blessed with so many amazing moments and events! Even though we lost one of the most important people in our lives(Nana) we know she is our angel looking down on us everyday. I'm so thankful for the good health of 2010 we had and the great memories that will last forever. I'm so thankful that we had a church to attend and be apart of to grow closer to Jesus and serve him through. I'm thankful for our family and friends who we spent 2010 with...I'm looking forward to 2011 and all the many more moments we will share with the ones we love!

May 2011 be filled with love, happiness, serving our AMAZING God, fun, laughter and moments that we will never forget! Here's to 2011!

      Rando Thursday!

This break has been great! I've rested, cleaned, ran, snuggled with my pups, caught up with friends and family and so much more!

So my grandma makes these cookies every Christmas and usually sends them up or brings them up. But she didn't get around to it this year, well when I realized that Christmas 2010 was going to pass without these cookies I had to fix that! So I busted out the White Italian and Chocolate Italian cookies this week! SO yummy!

This picture is not staged! This is exactly how Lucy Elizabeth was sleeping on me! I had to take a picture! She usually is super snuggly with the Mr. but for some reason this week she has been super snuggly with me! (And I'm lovin' it!)

Like I said yesterday, I take alot of pictures of my dogs! I can't resist!

      Ethel bug!

Two of my sisters are here..which I'm lovin'! But so is Lucy! She just had to be in K's lap while she was on the computer! So sweet!

I've cooked the past couple of nights and I'm loving it! I don't usually have time to cook alot when I'm working, so I've enjoyed making yummy dinners for my sweet Mr. and sisters! I'm trying to take advantage of all this time now before my SUPER busy spring starts!!

        SO What Wednesday!

        Photobucket

        • That I've slept in alot this break..isn't that is what it's for.

        • That I left my Christmas decorations up 3 days after Christmas. They are coming down today.

        • If I check Twitter and Facebook all day on my phone.

        • If I have to have volumes on even numbers.

        • That I watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 the other day.

        • That I take a million pictures of my dogs...when I have kids, I will take millions of pictures of them.

        • If I'm already looking forward to Valentines Day! (favorite holiday!)

        Christmas through my iPhone

My iPhone serves as a great camera when I either don't have my camera handy or I'm too lazy to go get it!
Here is Christmas through my iPhone:
Lucy with a Santa's Helper hat on!

        Isn't she cute?!?

Close to our hometown there is a home where the family sets up a drive through of millions of Christmas lights! We waited 45 minutes on Christmas Eve to drive through! It's always worth it!

        Fun lights!

        "HO HO HO~MERRY CHRISTMAS"

        Their house!

        "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

I love this one...Happy Birthday Jesus!

        Lucy with her Christmas bone!

        Snow in North Georgia!

In the car during our sledding adventure!

Ethel helping the Mr. find the best sledding spots the day after Christmas!

3000ft up and it was 16 degrees!!!

At the top of a mountain in knee deep snow!!

        Snow is so pretty!

        SO much snow!

        One of my favorites!

On our way home from all of our Christmas traveling and fun! Ethel was so tired!

Holidays can be stressful, fun but stressful. Making sure everyone is happy is important to me and I try to make everyone happy...but sometimes it doesn't work. Having multiple places and many people to see on the holidays is a blessing but also can be stressful. It's sad that the Christmas holidays are already over...but I'm looking forward to 2011 and all that is in store for myself and my family!
