Last Day of Summer...

Yup, that's right...today is the last day of summer. But you know what, I'm okay with it! :)

I love my job!

I will miss staying in pjs all day if I want, snuggling with the Mr. and pups, lunch dates, the beach, staying up late, working out when I want, and just doing summer stuff.

We've had a wonderful summer! Really wonderful...the baby news was the best part! :)

Going back to work isn't bad at all...and I actually like being on a schedule. So, here it goes...another summer in the books!

12 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 12 weeks

Size of baby: peach

Weight gain: 2 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Not yet...sometimes I'll wear a belly band with some shorts.
Gender: Don't know yet. I'm really wanting to know!!

Movement: None yet.
Sleep: Sleep is okay, getting up a lot.
Symptoms:Less nausea and getting more energy back! :) But now I've started getting headaches...and they aren't fun!

What I miss: Subway sandwiches

Cravings: Fruit and sometimes a Butterfinger! :)
Best Moment this week: Seeing great friends this past weekend and loving how excited they are for me and the Mr.!
What I am looking forward to: Our next doc appt on August 8th. 

Where's Fall?

In the past couple of years I've realized that fall is my FAVORITE season.

Well, I'm yearning for fall soo bad. For a couple of reasons:

• I'm sick of the heat. period.
• candy corn
• I'm ready for college football season! WAR EAGLE!
• I want to carve a pumpkin.
• I'm ready to wear cute dresses with boots.
• I want to do fall themed things with my students.
• And I'm ready to enjoy all the fun fall activities that happen every fall!

I know, I have a good two months before it even feels like fall in good ol' Georgia!

 But I'm ready!

It's a....

GIRL!!!!

No, not us yet...that's next month.

But my BFF M is having a GIRL!!! She is 5 weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy! I was honored to help her with her Gender Reveal party before we left for the Bahamas. It was so fun!

The dessert table...I made the cupcakes with the big reveal inside!!!

Before the food was on the table...but you can see the puff balls and sign we made together!

It was such a great evening! So excited for J and M!

Kenzie is going to be such a BEAUTY!!!

So What If...

• I'm starting to feel like myself again...still have moments that aren't too fun but I'm getting the hang of being pregnant!
• I'm ready to go back to school!
• I cannot stand my online class...I will NEVER take another online class again! If I say otherwise please remind me!
• I love the me and the Mr's evening walks!
• I'm so excited my BFF is having a GIRL!!!!
• I can't ride in the car too long...it's just way to hot!
• I'm loving fruit this week! Especially Dinosaur eggs!
• I feel better with my nails and toes done...call my girly! 

DA BAHAMAS!

Our summer vacay was last week and it was awesome! We headed back to the Bahamas! This time we went to a small island called Bimini...it's only 9 miles and only 1600 people live on the island. But there is a wonderful resort that we stayed at.

 Just getting into Bimini! Yes, I have a bug thing on...ha!

 My MIL's camera sometimes gets a black spot...so please ignore!

 We rented a boat one day and went over to Cat Cay...it's an exclusive island that you have to be a memeber of to stay...we just had lunch! :)

It was a wonderful trip! Can't wait for the next one! Thanks to my wonderful in-laws for a great vacation!

Weight gain: 2 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Not yet...clothes are getting a bit tighter though.

Gender: Don't know yet.

Movement: None yet...looking forward to that!

Sleep: Sleep is okay, I'm starting to get used to getting up 2-3 times a night.

Symptoms:Less nausea and getting more energy back! :)
What I miss: Subway sandwiches

Cravings: Capri Suns and fruit
Best Moment this week: Being in the Bahamas with Baby Hammar! Being in the pool was our favorite spot!
What I am looking forward to: Our next doc appt on August 8th. 

We are off to...

We will be enjoying ourselves for the next week with the sun, ocean, yummy seafood and more fun!

Size of baby: Prune about half an inch

Weight gain: 2 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Not yet...clothes are getting a bit tighter though.

Gender: Don't know yet.

Movement: None yet...looking forward to that!

Sleep: Sleep is okay, I'm starting to get used to getting up 2-3 times a night.

Symptoms:Nausea if I'm not taking the medicine...and headaches some.

What I miss: Subway sandwiches

Cravings: Cold stuff and Mexican food

Best Moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat! And seeing our sweet baby for the first time! Also, I ordered our Gender Reveal Party invitations!

What I am looking forward to: Our next doc appt on August 8th. 

Week by Week! (So far!)

So like many others, I'm taking the weekly pictures to capture how my tummy grows over the next 9  months!

I'll start a weekly pregnancy post and include the pictures. But since it was our sweet little secret I'll give you the last few weeks!

Not sure that there is much difference in the tummy...just the face...looking even more tired each week! ha!
