Trash...

Hello friends...it's Halloween Eve! :)

Today was a busy day but very good!

So I made some yummy trash for my students for Halloween tomorrow! Eric was very excited because it's one of his favorite things his mom makes. She shared her secret recipe. haha! Not so secret...here it is...try it! :)

Ingredients
1package (6 oz., 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/4cup peanut butter
1/2cup peanuts (optional)
6cups Crispix®
1cup powdered sugar

Directions 1. In large microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate at HIGH 1 minute. Stir and heat 30 seconds longer at HIGH or until melted when stirred. Stir in peanut butter and peanuts. Gently stir in KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, until evenly coated.2. Place powdered sugar in 2-gallon zipper-type plastic bag. Add coated cereal to sugar and close bag. Gently toss cereal mixture until evenly coated. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Yield: 16 servings

We like to call it "white trash" but that can be kind of derogatory. :)

Walked out of the house today without the PURSE...not so good. Didn't have lunch or breakfast. HUNGRY girl...but my sweet mother-in-law came to the rescue!!! She brought me a warm Chick-fil-A sandwhich and a cold sweet tea! :) There is one good thing of working 1 and 15 min away from the house...I'm close to family!

Greys is on tonight!!

Happy Hump Day!

Burr it's cold outside! :)

Winter has come upon us fast!! When I get in my car in the morning and the temperature says ICE...you know it's cold outside! haha!

Eric and I are having a busy week...but good!

My students have been okay this week...little crazy with Red Ribbon Week and Halloween upon us!

I'm so ready for the election to be over...it's getting old. I know it's SUPER important but it's getting really annoying that everyones conversations are about the election. And it's getting to be a big deal in the schools. Kids come in with "their" opinions...but it's really their parents. O well. I guess I was a kid at one point saying..."VOTE for ****!!" and really the only reason I was saying it was because my mom and dad talked about it. I think it's very important to inform your child about things such as an election. But don't send your child to school as a campaign manager!!

I hope everyone had a great Wednesday...2 more days until FRIDAY! :)

New Home :)

Hello friends!

We've moved!! (Well not in real life...but in internet life we have!) I feel as though http://www.blogger.com/ has more opitions for our blogging life!

We hope you enjoy reading the updates of our new life together! I'm going to really try to keep it updated! I think it's fun to read about what is going on with our family and friends, so I hope you do too! :)

Here is the post I posted on our old website last night:

I sit here on a Saturday evening, comfy in our little apartment all by myself. You ask, where is my husband? He is off on a “boys weekend” and is totally enjoying himself I’m sure! :) Some women I know would be upset that they were spending the weekend by themselves…but not me. I’m so happy that Eric has the opportunity to spend time with his boys! I’ve had a great weekend myself, seeing family, wedding dress shopping(not for me…haha!), lesson plans, grading papers, watching college football and being lazy!

Last night Eric and I went to dinner to celebrate a very dear friends 24th birthday! It was such a fun night, Eric left after dinner for his “boys weekend” and went to slumber with my sisters. This morning was spent with my mom and sisters, always fun to see them! Then I went with Lauren to get sized for my bridesmaid dress for her wedding! (It’s not until July…but the dress must be ordered early.) I’m so excited because the dress is so pretty!

This is the dress…but in a very pretty turquoise! And I’ll be barefoot because the wedding is on the BEACH!

Then after we ordered the dress we went to David’s Bridal with Elyse! Elyse and Alex are getting married December 6th!!! 41 days away! YAY! She found the PERFECT dress and it was the FIRST one she put on!!

I love that there are so many weddings going on in my life…after ours I told Eric I wanted to do it again…he reminded me that we would have other things to look forward to in our life! And I totally agree…but doing all the planning and having the perfect wedding day makes you want to do it again! So it’s so fun venting through my best friends while they plan for their special days!
Only 25 more days of student teaching!! YAY! I’ve been grading and doing lesson plans for the past four hours…I’m beginning to really feel like a real teacher! haha! This week at school it is “Red Ribbon Week”, so the kids get to dress up differently every day and Friday is Halloween…so you can just imagine what kind of week I’ll have!

Eric and I are going shopping/looking for our next place to live on Saturday! I’m so excited because this next place will be a much more permanent place to live! I can’t believe we will be moving in like 6 weeks!

I hope everyone had a comfy weekend like I’ve had. I’m planning on sleeping until my body wakes me up tomorrow…that will probably be about 5 am because my body is so used to waking up before the CRACK OF DAWN! haha!
