Tuck's New Pool Trick

The Mr. taught Tuck to push our heads down in the water in the big pool. And the next day as soon as we got in I was holding him and he took his hand and put it on my head to push me down. Funny boy! :)

Beach family!

We are truly enjoying our time at the beach this week!

Tuck LOVES the kiddie pool and all the attention and love he's getting!

This was us last year:

And here we are this year:
What a difference a year makes! :) Same beach...same mommy and daddy....same sweet boy just bigger...and now two girls on the way! :)

I'll have a full update of our trip later, but I have more beach and pool time to enjoy with my sweet family!

Here is what I'm saying So What to this week:
So What If...
  • I'm loving the beach with my family this week!
  • I'm sad that Tuck has had a cold at the beach...he's still having a blast.
  • I miss my doggies.
  • I'm praying hard for a sweet friend who is carrying twin boys.
  • I LOVE how active the girls are...I love feeling their little feet moving.
  • I'm thankful for God's creation of the ocean.
  • I LOVE that Tuck does this really cute thing when music comes on...we can say "dance" and he does it! It's so cute! I need to get it on video! :)

Don't Judge!

I saw this on Facebook the other day and it's awesome...as a mom who has been judged for decisions I've made for my son this hit close to home. It's not my job to judge other moms and dads. It's my job to be supportive and loving towards others doing the same job I am...being the BEST mom I can be.

- "To the mom who's breastfeeding: Way to go! It really is an amazing gift to give your baby, for any amount of time that you can manage! You're a good mom.

To the mom who's formula feeding: Isn't science amazing? To think there was a time when a baby with a mother who couldn't produce enough would suffer, but now? Better living through chemistry! You're a good mom.

To the cloth diapering mom: Fluffy bums are the cutest, and so friendly on the bank account. You're a good mom.

To the disposable diapering mom: Damn those things hold a lot, and it's excellent to not worry about leakage and laundry! You're a good mom.

To the mom who stays home: I can imagine it isn't easy doing what you do, but to spend those precious years with your babies must be amazing. You're a good mom.

To the mom who works: It's wonderful that you're sticking to your career, you're a positive role model for your children in so many ways, it's fantastic. You're a good mom.

To the mom who had to feed her kids from the drive thru all week because you're too worn out to cook or go grocery shopping: You're feeding your kids, and hey, I bet they aren't complaining! Sometimes sanity can indeed be found in a red box with a big yellow M on it. You're a good mom.

To the mom who gave her kids a homecooked breakfast lunch and dinner for the past week: Excellent! Good nutrition is important, and they're learning to enjoy healthy foods at an early age, a boon for the rest of their lives. You're a good mom.

To the mom with the kids who are sitting quietly and using their manners in the fancy restaurant: Kudos, it takes a lot to maintain order with children in a place where they can't run around. You're a good mom.

To the mom with the toddler having a meltdown in the cereal aisle: they always seem to pick the most embarrassing places to lose their minds don't they? We've all been through it. You're a good mom.

To the moms who judge other moms for ANY of the above? Glass houses, friend. Glass houses."

After dinner the other night in PTC we headed to Dairy Queen for a treat! The Mr. ordered his dessert not realizing that he wouldn't have hardly any of it! ha!

Needless to say this boy LOVES ice cream!

Dog Bowl or Water Table?

Tuck was having his nightly water table time and the dogs were hanging out too.

Then they started to take part in the fun by drinking the cold water! :)

And then Tuck thought he would drink like the dogs too!

Who knew the water table would be fun for the dogs too! :)

High Risk Doc Update

Wednesday we had our visit with the high risk doc. I have been going to my regular OBGYN the entire time. But at the 20 week mark with multiples they like to send their patients to a high risk doctor for a more in depth ultrasound.
[Twin A]

I really enjoyed the almost 35 minute ultra sound that they did! The ultra sound tech was awesome and after she measured each thing she would tell me it looks great or fine. :) She was super in depth. I mean she even measured their pinky fingers. :)

[Twin B]

After the long ultra sound the doc came in. He was awesome! He took a look too and told me the girls looked great! They are both head down which can change but is good, we are praying that they are head down when it comes time to deliver. They each weigh a pound and are only grams apart which is super great!!

My favorite picture! Their heads right next to each other! :) And this was the first shot the doc took when he started the ultra sound!

Baby feet! :)

More feet!

[Twin B]

The doc took time to talk with me and answer any questions I had. He explained that the girls could be identical...we won't know until after they are born! :) He also told me that they are in their own sacs and have their own placentas...which we knew but was good to hear again...because that's the best way to have twins. The doc also took the time to talk with me about my birth plan and what my wishes are. He wants to see us again on July 15th, which makes me excited because I get to see the girls for long time again! :)

I will continue my biweekly appointments at my OBGYN with ultra sounds each time.

We are just so blessed that the girls are healthy and growing like they should! We are praying for the rest of the pregnancy to be super healthy and great!

Thank you for all your prayers and love, we are so thankful for them!

Here is what I'm saying So What to this week:
So What If...
  • I'm officially done working until July 30th!
  • I'm so sad I didn't take any pictures this weekend! I attended a graduation party, and two bridal showers and took no pictures...not like me at all!
  • I'm loving how the girls nursery is coming along! It's going to be sooo cute!!!
  • I cannot wait to get my toes in the sand in a few days! WHOOP!
  • I have moments where I really miss my long hair...it was for a good cause but I sure do miss it.
  • I'm so obsessed with my plastic insulated mason jar cup that J gave us for being in her wedding...it's so cute!
  • I can't wait to see the girls today when we go to the doc!

Hello Summer!

TJH got a water table for his birthday and he has played with it so much already! He LOVES waters and the water table is the perfect height for him to have a blast!

Friday afternoon/evening was so nice and we were all happy that Mommy was done with school! The Mr. had the hose out and TJH found it and LOVED playing with it! :)

Enjoy the great pics that the Mr. captured of our sweet boy having a blast with the hose and water table!

This is just a preview of how fun our summer is going to be with this sweet boy! :)
