Week 17

Dear Tucker,

Well, you had your first Memorial Day Weekend...we didn't too much to celebrate. We did enjoy one cookout and some good sales while shopping! :)

We both were pretty tired after our fun weekend in PTC, so we slept in a little bit on Monday! Then you snuggled with Mommy a lot! :)

You are getting better about tummy time!

We tried to go to the park with friends on Tuesday, but Hurricane Berly caused some rain here. So, we just played at home. You took some long naps because on Monday night you woke up at 3am. You have decided to wean yourself from the swaddle. So, Mommy didn't need to stress about that anymore...you did it  yourself. I tried to re-swaddle you after you had come out of it and you let me know very quickly that you didn't want to swaddled anymore.You also some how turned yourself in your crib. It kind of scared me at first but then I just realized that you are are an active sleeper. :)

You turned and I couldn't see you on the monitor...this scared Mommy at first.

You still love bath time!

Wednesday was spent doing something for the first time...POOL time! You loved it! We went with some of Mommy's work friends and their babies...which are all boys! :) You loved having your feet in the pool...you even took a lil snooze on me with your toes in the water.

The pool time worn you out...you loved your naps the rest of the day and playing low key at home! :)

Thursday we met C and W for lunch at Chick-fil-A! It was so fun!

You are just a happy happy baby! You hardly ever cry. And if you do it's only for a few seconds to tell us that something is wrong.  

You love to go places and watch people. We went to Hobby Lobby and you flirted with all the workers and other shoppers. :) 

Mommy and Daddy love to play with you. We love watching your little brain work.

Friday was spent resting and playing at home. Then we headed out to have dinner with some of Mommy and Daddy's friends! :)

You've really started to love your lovey. And you already loved Sophie...so we think you must have something for giraffes! ha!

Saturday was a super fun day! You finally got to meet your good friend Rush! You guys are only one week apart in age. :) We had so much fun all playing together! We joked that next time we needed to have y'all on the same schedule...once one of you would wake up the other was going to sleep...but it was still a lot of fun! You guys liked looking and trying to grab each other. We just know that y'all will have so much fun as you get older!

Just in the last two days you've gotten louder with your talking and cooing. I just love to listen to you talk and coo and you get excited when you get loud. 

Tucker, what can I say...summer is the BEST with YOU! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby  who is so social and happy all the time. We love spending every moment that you are awake with you. We miss you while your sleeping! Tucker, Mommy and Daddy love you so much and just know this summer will be the best one of our lives so far! :)
