R & T

The Mr. and his good friend J have been friends for years...they grew up in church together and did all kinds of fun things as kids, teenagers and now as adults. 

When it was time for J to get married he asked the Mr. to be one of his groomsmen and of course he said yes. Well, I was super excited about J getting married because I got a new friend out of it! J and J are such a wonderful couple and we love spending time with them!

A couple months later...almost two to be exact the Mr. and I got married. The Mr. wouldn't have had it any other way but to have J be one of his groomsmen!

So you now you understand our friendship a little better...we are great friends!

Fast forward to June 2011...the Mr. gives J a call to share our good news about being pregnant! We were driving through the mountains so half way through the phone call they got disconnected. J calls the Mr. back and shares that they are pregnant too! And it ends up that our due dates are a week apart! All four of us were so excited! HOW FUN!

Then we find out we both are having boys! YAY!

It gets even better! Our boys were born EXACTLY a week apart! How perfect is that!? :)

J and I talk all the time about the boys and what they are doing. We get advice from each other and share things that work for each of us. It's so fun to have someone who has a baby the same age. And of course we  send pictures and videos all the time. :)

Well since we are all so busy it took us a while to get together after having the boys but we finally were able to and boy was it fun!

We cannot wait to the memories to be made with our two boys! It's going to be so fun to watch them grow together and hopefully they will be close friends like their daddys!

I'm so blessed to have J as my friend too...she is truly a very sweet friend and mama! Like I told her the other day, I'm thankful that her and J got married because I got a wonderful friend out of! And now TJH has a buddy to grow up with! :)
