What's up?

Getting close to the weekend! YAY!

Done with my one grad class! WHOOHOO!

Excited to see some friends this weekend!

And actually go to our church here...we've been out of town for the past 5 weekends.

I got some school stuff in the dollar spot at Target yesterday! They always have cute stuff that is useful! As much as I love summer, I'm kind of excited about going back to work! I know...I know...but I really do love what I do. :) And I'm very excited about the new grade!! 2nd!!! I also got my new lesson planner! BIG DORK!

But I'm still looking forward to a great rest of our summer!

So What If...

• I'm still counting down the days...
• I'm soo glad my one grad class is over today!!
• I'm looking forward to start working in my new classroom next week!
• I love Capri Suns...and have been drinking them a lot!
• I'm not a fan of online classes...call me a dork but I would rather go to class and listen to the professor.
• I was planning on sleeping in tomorrow but I must be awake for the sentencing for Casey Anthony!
• You can only visit someone for a little bit, it's better than not seeing them at all!
• I'm super ready for vacation.

Verdict and 4th fun!

Okay first thing...I know EVERYONE is talking about the Casey Anthony trial...but o my goodness...not the verdict I was expecting. Ugh. I just feel for Caylee so much. Can't she just have justice! And dont' even get me started on how Casey reacted after finding out the verdict! Anyways...

Our 4th of July weekend was fun! Lots of activities!!

The pups had lots of walks with me and their G-mama...my sweet MIL!

We caught up with lots of friends that we don't get to see often!

4th of July started out with the annual parade of course! It wasn't too hot and was fun to get all the goodies that they throw up! My MIL got a BRAND NEW VERA BRADLEY! ha!

We attended two BBQs!

One was super hot and then it stormed and the second one it was cooler but humid...both were very fun!

Then it was time for fireworks!!

Our hometown got a new restaurant this past week! We of course went this morning after church! YUMMO!

I've eaten there once a long time ago in ATL...

But it was very good this morning!!

We are now off to Sam's Club and such. Dinner with family tonight!

Summer Loves!

Overall, we've had a wonderful summer so far!

Grad School, dinners, lots of trips to PTC, and much more! Lookin' forward to the next month of summer...yup, just less than a month and I'll be back to work. It's okay...I LOVE what I do!

Sweet "Bug" loves to ride on the Mr.'s lap when we go places in the car, but we set up a pillow on the middle consoule this past trip and she just loved it! Couldn't resist taking a quick pic with my sweet Ethel!

This past week was a busy one for us!

I had my first JL (Junior League) event...which was fun!

I helped a very dear friend with her new classroom! She will be starting her FIRST year teaching this year! SO excited for her!

We had our friends over for dinner with their SWEET SWEET baby boy! We loved hugging on him and enjoying their company!

I had some end of the semester projects for school.

And then we headed to PTC for the holiday weekend!

WHEW!

I've enjoyed spending time with the Mr. I will miss that when I get back into my routine of work and grad school in the fall. We have a lot of fun together!

He's been great about making me yummy smoothies for breakfast...the other day I wasn't a big fan of the one he made me...but I was a big girl and drank it! :)

I sent him his picture because he was worried I wasn't going to drink it! :)

Now, we will enjoy a fun weekend in our hometown for the holiday!

400 and JLA!

This is my 400th post!!

I have a lot of fun blogging!
I blog to capture moments with my little family. It will be fun to look back many years from now and see all what we did together.



Not sure if I've shared, but I joined Junior League. I'll be in my provisional year this coming fall. I'm very excited to be apart of a group of women who do service for our community. I'm also excited to meet some nice ladies here in town too. This past week we had a Meet and Greet to get to know some of the new ladies coming in this year. It was a fun evening of visiting, food and painting! A local paint place came in and did a paint session with us. We painted the house that our Junior League owns. Mine turned out awful....no really. But it was a lot of fun!
