EKH & OCH Week 5

Dear Emma Kate and Olivia,

Monday started off great! We headed to Bundles of Joy first! EK you weighed in at albs 2oz! Olivia you weighed in at 9lbs 2 oz! I thought it was so cute that yall were exactly one pound apart! I'm so proud of you girls for growing so much! 

You girls love your outfits from Aunt LK.

It's so fun when you are both awake and wanting to play! :)

B, a co-worker and friend of Mommys came to meet you girls on Monday afternoon. She calls herself Aunt B! :) 

You girls are becoming way more alert and awake...it's so fun to see you two play together!

This snuggle session happened after your baths one night this week! I love seeing you girls love on each other...Olivia you helped calm EK down. :)

GMama and Grandpa came for a quick visit this week and you girls loved being loved on by them!

Another trip to the park...you girls love being outside and riding in your stroller. 

Miss O, I've started to see a pattern...you wake up before EK in the mornings and I believe it's so you can get some extra snuggles in! :) Mommy doesn't mind at all! 

EK, I always try to take pictures of you when you're not screaming. :)

They say you can't spoil a baby by holding them too much...so I'm holding you girls as much as possible! 

Olivia, you are getting some chunky cheeks! I love them! :)

Thursday Aunt LK came to visit us and brought you girls these CUTE outfits!!! We love Hanna Andersson but not as much as we love Aunt LK!

Sometimes when all of your bibs are dirty you have to use your big brothers bibs! :) 

Saturday us girls spent the day upstairs because your big brother was sick. We didn't want you girls to catch what he had. Mommy nursed, snuggled and played with you girls, and watched Scandal! 

Sunday we snuggled some more and cooked out with our neighbors. You girls love having people over just like your parents and big brother!

EK you have screamed so much this week...one way to get you to calm down is wearing you. I wear you in a sling, Moby Wrap or the Baby Bjorn. 

Daddy ran to the store and you both started to scream at the same time. But then I put you together and you both calmed down...it was so sweet!

Girls it's been a wonderful week! EK you have screamed so much but we are trying to find things that help you. Olivia you have started to spit up a little bit, I'm burping you even more often and making you slow down...you love to eat! ;) 

We are so blessed to be your parents!
