One of my very favorite parts of the Christmas season!
The Mr. and I used to go get our tree and then pick up Chinese food! Funny tradition but we loved it! After Tucker came along we changed up the tradition! The Mr. took TJH his first Christmas to pick the tree and he did such a great job he's done it every year since! :)
2012, 2013, 2014 and now 2015...precious boy is TOO big now!
He was SO proud when he got home with it! Me and the girls were upstairs and he kept yelling up to us to show us! The girls were SO proud of him too! :)
We woke up at home and were not stressed to get anywhere quickly. We ate breakfast, kids took naps, and then when Tucker woke up from his first nap we made Nana's Butter Cookies! :)
It was SO much fun to share this experience with TJH! We are making this a new tradition for our family on Christmas Eve to make Nana's Butter Cookies for Santa!
TJH of course had to taste the cookies he made! :) He LOVED it and danced around the kitchen to the Christmas music playing. :)
Then later we had some play time with the girls and got a little photo shoot in with the kids in their Santa shirts :) Aunt H gave the girls these precious oneies and G gave Tuck his shirt.
Then the kiddos all took naps and we got ready to go to church.
It was so wonderful to go to our church for Christmas Eve!
Then we came home and got Christmas jammies and put all the kiddos to bed!
Saturday morning we flew up to Chicago to attend my cousins wedding! It was such a fun quick trip! And we were so glad to be apart of their very special day!
The ceremony was at 1pm and it was beautiful! The groom and his family are Assyrian so the ceremony was held in their church and was very traditional.

The beautiful bride after the ceremony. Then they were off for more pictures. The reception wasn't until 6pm so we went back to my Aunts house...S's mom's house for some snacks and rest. It was wonderful to spend the afternoon with family!
Then we headed out for the reception. My Aunt had told me that 600 people would be there and I was blown away...and when we walked into the reception hall I was floored! It was BEAUTIFUL!

It was a wedding that I will never forget! It was beautiful, fun and so full of culture! We loved learning and being apart of the traditions. And the food was amazing!
The groom F and his family really know how to party and celebrate! It was so neat to see their traditional dances. I took this video so yall could see how cool this was! Everyone gets up and does the same dance! And let's just talk about how beautiful all these people are! My cousin and her husband will have BEAUTIFUL babies! :)
