Summer Friends Fun

Since we've been "down south" we've been able to see lots of our great friends who live around here! And since it's summer we have more time to see friends so we are really enjoying seeing such special people! 

Tuesday night we headed to ATL to eat and visit with this awesome couple! We love V and N and hate that we don't get to see them more often. We ate at this super yummy seafood place called 6 Feet Under and it had a great view of the Atlanta sky line. 

Wednesday afternoon we headed over the D's house! They just moved and we were excited to see their new house...it's BEAUTIFUL! 

All 5 kids loved playing together and of course eating yummy strawberries and pound cake for dessert!

We all had so much catching up and sharing funny stories! We love this couple!

Thursday me and T headed to the pool to hang out with part of the FOUR! We met H and L at L's parents beautiful pool! 

The kids had a blast and T kept his head under water most of the afternoon...he was so proud of himself! 

We really missed L and C...it wasn't the same without all FOUR together but still so fun! 

I'm so thankful for these girls! 

It's been so nice to catch up with special friends! We are so thankful for all the true friendships we have with these people. We are also glad to raise our kids around these people...it's great to have people we love and respect around our children!

Warm Weather Happiness

The first part of this week was beautiful!

Sunday was amazing! We had our dear friends over for some back yard fun! The kiddos loved playing with T! We set up the pool and water table. The Mr. boiled water to put in with the hose water so it wouldn't be too cold for the kids. They had a blast splashing around! And eating lots of snacks! :)

Love that a simple afternoon made so many of us happy! The kids and the adults! 

Summer Fun!

We were only home for a few days last week but we had so much fun!

Monday was a restful day at home. I had a doc appt in the morning but other than that we hung out at home to catch up from our big beach trip. 

Tucker ate his first bowl of cereal on his own. :) 

And he actually got most of it in his mouth. 

Tucker and I did do some finger painting. We will probably wait a little longer to do it again...he was more interested in the bottle of finger paint then actually painting. :) 

Tuesday we headed to the pool with a bunch of my school friends!

We had a great time! I didn't get a pic of all the kiddos, but it was all boys! ha! 

Lucy had to go to the vet later that day and T and Ethel were not happy about her leaving. 

Tuesday evening we had J, T and baby T over for dinner! We got to catch up on each others beach trips. We had missed them! 

Wednesday morning we headed to Story Time at our local library. T loved it and it will def be something we do more of this summer!

After the library my Dad and step mom came for lunch. It was good to see them and Tuck loved playing with them! :) 

Then we headed out of town Wednesday night. What a great little week at home. :) 

Tuck's New Pool Trick

The Mr. taught Tuck to push our heads down in the water in the big pool. And the next day as soon as we got in I was holding him and he took his hand and put it on my head to push me down. Funny boy! :)
