Here goes 2012!

How was your New Years Eve and New Years Day?

Ours was just wonderful!

NYE was spent with my sweet sis B and the Mr. We went to our very favorite place to eat in town and then hung out at home for the rest of the evening with a big fire and good company!

New Years Day was supposed to be spent with our dear friends M and J and their sweet baby girl Kenzie! We have had a tradition to eat and hang out together on New Years Day...so we couldn't let this year be any different! But I came down with a cold this weekend and we didn't want to share our germs with the sweet new baby.So we still took the meal to their house but didn't stay for long and didn't get close to their sweet baby girl! The Mr. made a really YUMMY Boston Butt and we had the rest of the traditional meal...collard greens and black eyed peas and corn bread! YUMMY!! Loved that we kept our tradition just in an altered way....next year will be fun with our two babies playing! :)

Now, it's back to work and normal routines....not so sure how I feel about that all. Today is a teacher work day and the students return tomorrow. Grad school starts back next week. Things will get busy again...but a new busy will be when TJH gets here. I'm actually really looking forward to that busy.

ate some more yummy food on the "beach" at Disney

stayed up late talking

got all dolled up

watched my best friend put her BEAUTIFUL wedding dress on

took some fun pictures with a REALLY fun photographer

walked down the alise and then watched my best friend walk to her husband

danced the night away

danced with Mickey and Minnie

watched fireworks

didn't sleep much at all

drove some more

and enjoyed a lovely wedding in Walt Disney World with my best friends and husband

Halloween...a bit late!

Halloween was pretty low key for us this year.

The Mr. did dress up! And we went to our good friends house to help give out candy. It was a fun evening!

The Mr, T, J and T...the boys looked good in their costumes!
