Goodbye 152 Putters Drive

Today we said goodbye to our first home! It's bittersweet for sure! We lived there for 5 years and a lot of wonderful things happened during that time. 

February 26, 2010...the day we closed on the house!

We brought home Ethel to this house...April 2010. 

We had many parties, showers, dinners, sleep overs and family gatherings! 

We brought home our first child in this home...Tucker John on February 6, 2012!

We celebrated his 1st birthday in our home with a ton of our family and friends! 

Then on September 15, 2013 we brought home Emma Kate and Olivia! 

Our house got full super quick! :) 

We had the best neighbors ever! It was the perfect house to start our family and have three little ones running around. We are so excited about our new home which will have more rooms and more yard to play in! 

So long 152 Putters Drive...you were wonderful to us! 

Spring Break Take 2!

This past week was the Mr.'s Spring Break! It was nice for both of us! He was able to rest and get some stuff done around our house. And he was able to take the kids to school...which meant I could go at my old 6:00 AM time and get work done at school. 

He changed our selling relator during the week so we are super hopeful that our house will sell quicker now. He did some things around the house that needed to be done without kids here and for the sell of our house. 

We also were able to eat dinner a lot together this week because he was working late! The kids loved this! 

EK loves wipes! She loves to wipe her hands and nose...she also loves to clean! :) My mom said I was the same way when I was little. 

The Mr. did some work in the yard too...and of course the kiddos wanted to help! 

GMama had gotten the girls jean jackets a few weeks ago and since we had this cold snap again this week we pulled them out! And boy, do they look cute in them! EK was so excited about hers that she wanted to take it to bed with her! 

One night for Tuck's one-on-one time we played with Oreo Matchin' Middles...they are super fun...they have shapes in the inside and you have to match them up...you can play a lot of games with them. We talked about shapes, counted and even organized them into groups. He's at an age that he is just soakin' up everything! :) 

The Mr. did good taking the kids this week to school...when I picked up the kids on Friday EK only had one shoe on! We all just laughed! At least it was just for one day! 

Everyone enjoyed the Mr. being at home...now only 24 more days of school and it's SUMMER! 

Chair Recover Project

The Mr.'s grandmother gave us her dining room table this past summer. They came with these beautiful chairs expect for the fabric...ha! So, we were meaning to cover them this summer but we were busy with other things...like having two baby girls! :) Well, my wonderful MIL found this fabric and it was perfect for the colors in our kitchen/eating area! I LOVE how they turned out! The Mr. did an excellent job! 

2 years!

Today is 2 years in our wonderful home!

I cannot believe it's been two years already! I remember that day like yesterday, we were so excited to get the keys to our first home!

When we moved in it was just three of us(me, Mr. and Lucy). Now there are two pups...Lucy and Ethel, and a sweet sweet baby boy! We are so blessed!

We've had so many wonderful memories in our home and I cannot wait to make more! :)

Mr. at work!

The Mr. has been BUSY today! :)

He has:

Made my morning smoothie. :)

Cleaned all the windows-inside and out!

Replaced light fixtures for three lights in our house.

Vacuumed the whole house.

Fixed some chairs that were squeaky!

Put new whiper blades on our car.

Installed a dimmer switch.

Put out new pine straw.

Cleaned one our bathtubs...scrubbed it CLEAN!

Needless to say he has been busy! He is so good at doing things around the house. I'm so thankful for him and his talents!

I on the other hand have:

Showered

 Gone to class

Read 4 chapters for school

Posted for my online class

Cleaned the two beta fish bowls

Overall it's been a successful day!
