Mid-Week Fall Break

The middle of Fall Break was great too! The kiddos went to school for part of the days Tuesday-Thursday. This kept them in a routine and allowed the Mr. and I to get some stuff done around our house.

The Mr. did yard work! Love the fall flowers!

The girls have started to wear some of the pjs they got from their birthday! SOO cute!:)

Lucy girl liked us being home more for the week!

The Mr. and I organized our garage so I can park my car inside!

I forgot to take a before picture. But it wasn't too bad...just things not put away. And we still had a few boxes still unpacked.

My big ol' car fits in now!

We had a mid week play/dinner date with one of our favorite families! And got to see their beautiful new home!!

I got to meet these two ladies for lunch too! We ate at one of our favorite places and I got to see sweet baby M...goodness she is precious!

Livi reading to EK!

Sweet EK!

Fall break called for monster and pumpkin donuts!

Needless to say the middle part of our Fall Break was amazing! We really enjoyed the down time!

Labor Day Weekend Fun!

We've enjoyed our long weekend!

After tailgating with the cheerleaders Saturday morning we went back home and played!

These girls didn't want to take their uniforms off!

Bathtime sweetness!

Ethel still has her bows in from being groomed...the kids LOVE them think it's so cute!

We tried a church on Sunday. The kids did great going to Sunday School! We didn't dislike the church...just not for us. We were a lot younger then the people there and it was kind of stale feeling. We already have another one in mind to try next time.

These sisters are the sweetest! They are always showing each other love! Of course there are moments of screaming and not sharing but the good out weighs the bad for sure!

After church on Sunday we ate lunch and took naps. I took a 2 hour nap with TJH...I guess I was tried! ha! After naps we played outside and got super dirty! ha!

Eating homemade popsicles with our neighbor E!

Monday we played outside all morning with the neighbor kids and TJH rode a four-wheeler for the first time and LOVED it!

All 6 of the kiddos! It's so fun to have neighbors that have children around the same ages as our kiddos!

Z and TJH!

Then later in the afternoon we took the girls 2 year pictures! And then TJH and I went to get him some new shoes!

Shoe shopping calls for a quick ice cream treat for this good boy!

He ended up with the New Balances! Love my little frat boy!

We had a wonderful long weekend even though it flew by!

This and That :)

We've had a great week so far!

Our precious babies are keeping us smiling and laughing! We are practicing daily with the girls to say "I'm 2!" Cannot believe 2 weeks from now I'll have 2 two year olds!!! (Cue the tears!)

The Mr. and I have been meal prepping since school started back and it's great! He is so good about doing it every Sunday...he does our salads and I do breakfast!

Beautiful veggies for our salads!

These cuties just LOVE their Daddy!

The girls had some homework this past weekend...to make a family tree! I didn't have all of my tools at home to make it more creative but here is how it turned out!

They loved looking at the pictures! And their teachers hung it out front for everyone to see! :)

These two make my heart flutter! Emma Kate didn't want to go to bed the other night and asked to bed rocked 3 times after she had been rocked twice...well later I checked on them and this is how I found them sleeping. In Olivia's bed with Olivia giving her love!

I've never done Scholastic book orders in my classroom because where I taught previously most families couldn't afford buying books for their kiddos. I placed my first order at my new school with my new kiddos and it was so cool! I only had two families make orders but with their two orders I was able to get 3 free books! I got two for my classroom and choose one for TJH! He loved his new book!

The Mr. is doing the Lego Club at school so he will be gone some afternoons/evenings. No worries...we can make it work great! Monday night I got everyone a puzzle to work on while I prepped dinner!

We got a package this week from a very special family! Precious new outfits for our girls and gift cards for our new home. I am so blessed to have had a friendship with this family for many many years and I've loved watching them become parents and being apart of their children's lives! And I'm so happy that I can share my babies with them too! :)

If you know me you know I have seasonal candy favorites...my fall one is candy corn. But I eat them weird...I don't like the white part. I sent this to my friend L and J and they both laughed because they know about my weird way of eating candy corn. I haven't eaten too many because I'm having some stomach issues.

When we got home yesterday EK wanted to go in the back yard for some reason...we let her and then her and Owie were playing through the door...so cute!

The last lot is being cleared in our neighborhood. And it's across the street...when we go home yesterday TJH sat and watched for awhile!

It's been a great week and we have a fun weekend planned!

A few house updates!

We have been doing more things to make our house a home!

The Mr. did some upgrades this week!

(Our wall looks dirty but it's the lighting)

Love the upgrade!

SO tacky!

Little changes that make a big difference!

This builder was so weird...he did the brushed bronze on all the door handles and stuff but not the sinks and shower heads...so we are slowing replacing them all!

Next up...the yard...the Mr. did a major overhaul on the front yard!

Busy week with no pics!

I usually take tons of pictures but I was super busy with setting up my new classroom so my pictures slacked this week.

The Mr. and TJH headed to PTC on Sunday to see his cousin and his family. G and Aunt B taught Tucker how to play Hi Ho Cheery-O! He beat both of them!

The kiddos started back at school this week too and so every evening they have been super tired! Monday evening the girls requested milk and "baby" (Baby Einstein) after bath time!

All summer I've missed these two ladies! We finally got together for dinner! We spent 3 hours talking and catching up. I am going to miss seeing theses two ladies this year so much!

We had a great week! The Mr. did a TON to our yard! And it looks amazing! I'll do a post on that soon! We also got our new dryer so we are back in business with doing laundry!
