Sister Bears 18 Month Update_EK&O

Goodness, I cannot believe our little girls are 18 months old! This age is so much fun! I remember it being a blast with TJH...the girls are double the fun!

EK&O tid bits:

-They look for one another as soon as they wake up from sleeping.

-If you ask where "sister" or "sister bear" is they look for one another.

-Playing together happens a lot but they also don't mind playing solo or with TJH.
-Their blankies are a necessity for sleeping, riding in the car for long amounts of time and for taking to school for nap time!

-They  aren't a fan of sharing food...they need their own snacks.

-Bathtime is a blast for both...Olivia has gotten better with all of EK's splashing. 

-They both can say Tucker's name and it's pretty cute when they yell for him across the room.

Emma Kate:
Weight: will update in a couple of weeks

Height:  will update in a couple of weeks

-LOVES to run and clap and dance! Her teachers at school say she's very active at school too! :)

-Is so sneaky about throwing food off of her tray that she doesn't like. The pups love her for it!
-This girl is in love with getting dressed and putting shoes on! She doesn't fight at all when it's time to get dressed! And she also loves all of the dress up things we have at home!
-Still sleeps with her blankie over her head! 

Olivia:
Weight: will update in a couple of weeks

Height:  will update in a couple of weeks

-Sings all the time...own little songs. :)

-Really loves to repeat everything we say and most words she's pretty good at repeating!
-Swacks like a bird if Lucy or Ethel try to get her snack!
-This girl could eat all day long...she is always asking for food! :)
-Finally getting some hair...we have to keep it pinned back because it's starting to get into her eyes.

Clothes: 18 months-24 months

Size of Diaper: Size 5

Daily Routine:  Wake up: 5:45...bottle. Get ready for school. School at 6:30. Breakfast at 7, snack at 9, Lunch at 11:30...Nap at 11:45-2pm...snack at 3. Pick up from school around 3:45...snack on the way home. Dinner at 4:30. Bottle at 5...bed by 5:15pm. 

Girls, we love you so very much! You have made twin life SO much fun! We love watching you two together and apart. We love that you are so different but SO close. We hope we get to watch you grow very very old. And we hope that you will soon know the love of Jesus and accept Him into your heart! Emma Kate and Olivia Cay, you are the sweetest, most loving, funniest, most precious girls we know. We love you two to the moon and back a million trillion times!!

Happy TWELVE Months Emma Kate and Olivia!

HAPPY 12 MONTHS EMMA KATE AND OLIVIA CAY!

(I wanted to wait until you two had your one-year well check up before doing this last post!) 

Stats for EKH:

Weight: 21.7 lbs

Height:  29 3/8 inches

Clothes: 12 and some 18 months

Size of Diaper: Size 5

Daily Routine:  Wake up: 6:45-7:30ish Bottle, breakfast, nap, bottle, snack/lunch, afternoon nap, snack, bottle, dinner and then bed around 6:30-7pm...your schedule is changing some...maybe going down to one longer nap instead of two smaller naps. 

Milestones: 
You have started walking with your walker! And you are SO proud of yourself! You enjoy pulling up on things and are bearing more weight on your feet. You eat just about anything...but don't care for mac n' cheese! ha! :) You love to chase us and love when we chase you. You have started to cry more when going to bed at night...but it usually only last 3-5 minutes.
Current Nicknames: Emmy Cake, EK, Sister Bear and Tuck loves to call you Emma Cakie

Stats for OCH:

Weight: 21.4lbs

Height: 28 7/8 inches 

Clothes:12 and some 18 months 

Size of Diaper: Size 5

You walk ALL the time! :) Every chance you can to pull up on something and then start walking you do! You even have ran a few times! You love love to sing "If You're Happy And You Know It". You have been a bit more emotional lately...we think you have a couple teeth coming in...you and teething don't get a long very well.

You two are working on sharing with each other! You two have also started to "wrestle" and it's SOOO cute! You love to play together with Tucker's "big boy" toys like his Cozy Coupe and his bike. You two girls are SO sweet and always want to know where the other one is if not in eye sight. You two are always sharing your stuffed animals with each other in the bed and love to chat when you two wake up. You both love to drink water out of big girl cups. 

We love you two so very much and cannot believe that you're already ONE!

Milestones: You are such a sweet girl! You are so fast with your scooting and love to pull up on everything. You are the talker for sure! You love to talk to us and tell us stories and you're always talking to your sister. Your new favorite thing to eat is spaghetti and chicken pot pie! You LOVE "big girl" food! One of your very favorite thing is when Mommy or Daddy sing to you!

Milestones: You are so close to taking your first steps! You stand alone all the time now and even can stand up in the middle of the room! You LOVE to point to our faces and smile super big!You LOVE spaghetti! You said "Emma" for the first time this month and it's so sweet!

Girls, you are something else! We can't get enough of you two! You two are becoming BEST FRIENDS! You two have your own language and are always talking to each other! We've started to slowly transition you two over to whole cows milk. You two take good naps and still sleep 12-13 hours at night.  You two enjoy playing with your big brother and are always following him around! You two are the sweetest girls ever and we love you more than you'll ever know!

Milestones: You are officially on the move! No, it's not crawling but you're moving! :) You sit on your bottom and one let is straight and one is bent and you pull yourself with your hands. You sign 'more' and are working on 'all done', 'eat', and 'thank you'. You are the best eater, you will try anything new and love almost everything we give you. You still don't like it too much if your sister crawls over your or bumps into you, but you're getting better about it. :) You love to watch your big brother and you also love to sit in Mommys lap and listen to books. You are very vocal still and are always talking to us. You love to say Mama and Dada.

Milestones: You are such a sweet soul! You love your brother and sister so much! You are pulling up on everything!! You are starting to cruise on the furniture. You are more of a picky eater, you don't like baby food with texture. You LOVE watermelon! You've had some tummy problems this past month...we are keeping a very close eye on this.You sign 'more' and are working on 'all done', 'eat', and 'thank you'. You love when Mommy sings to you. You love to say Mama and Dada, and baba (bottle) and are working on dog and Tucker. :)

 We love watching you two grow! You two are really starting to play more together. Emma Kate you are starting to follow your sister around and play more with what she is playing with. You two take toys away from each other but no one gets upset. You two love to chit chat when it's time to take a nap and every time you two wake up you're talking and passing your blankets back and forth. Olivia you got a boo boo this month and EK got upset for you too, it was so sweet. Yall are pretty much always on the same schedule and that makes our days smooth. Both of your faces are looking less like babies which makes Mommy and Daddy sad. You two LOVE TJH so much and love to play whatever he is playing. He always tells us what you two are saying and need.
We love you two so very much and can't believe you're only 2 months away from being ONE!

Weight: We weighed you girls at home....what we got was 19lbs 12oz...but we go for your 9 month check up next week

Height:  25.5 inches (as of 3/18)

Clothes: 9-12 months

Size of Diaper: Size 3

Daily Routine: Great routine! You wake up around 6:30-7:30...bottle....nap for 1-1.5 hours...eat oatmeal...play...bottle...play...nap for 45min-1hour...bottle...play...veggies...play...bottle...bed around 5:30-7pm. 

Milestones:  Girl you are the life of the party! You are always talking to us! You are make the cutest faces ever. One of your cute new faces is what we call your "Baby Bull" face...you do it when you're done with food or you don't want something. :) You have started to move backwards and in circles on your tummy...you still don't like being on your tummy at all! But you also know how to move around sitting on your bottom. You LOVE any and all food! Current nicknames: Pretty Princess, EK, Sugar Bear or Sister Bear

Daily Routine: Great routine! You wake up around 6:30-7:30...bottle....nap for 1-1.5 hours...eat oatmeal...play...bottle...play...nap for 45min-1hour...bottle...play...veggies...play...bottle...bed around 5:30-7pm. You are still nursing twice a day.
Milestones: You are on the move all the time girly! You have mastered crawling! You do the army style to get everywhere and not you're starting to push up on your toes and knees. You've also gone from crawling to sitting back up on your own. You are so sweet natured and are a big time mamas girl! You eat most stuff but prefer "big people" food and aren't big fans of baby food. Current Nicknames: Owie, Livi Cay, Oatmeal Pie

You sweet girls are so much fun! Twin life is getting easier with you two. You love to sit and play with each other on the floor. You also love to chat in your high chairs after meals. You both don't have any teeth yet, but are teething. You two enjoy sleeping in your own room together. You went on your first vacation this month to the beach and LOVED it! You two really enjoy watching and playing with Tucker...y'all think he's so funny!

EK and Owie, you are so loved by your family and friends! We couldn't ask for more perfect little girls. We are so thankful that you both are happy and healthy! Mommy and Daddy LOVE you so very much and are so blessed to be your parents!

Milestones:  You make us smile and laugh all the time with your high pitch squeals and talking! :) You are a great sitter but aren't interested in rolling over anymore. You are still a great eater! You LOVE to jump in your jumpy and play with your sister. You get very upset if she kicks you or takes your toys away. You really enjoy bath time because now you girls take baths in the big bath tub! You over all are just a happy girl!

Milestones: You are trying to start moving for real...you roll ALL over the place and push up on your arms like your getting ready to crawl. We feel some ridges on your gums so we know those teeth are close. You still LOVE your big brother Tucker and don't mind if he rolls you around and hugs you tight. You're getting better at eating your solids. You still love to touch faces...it's so sweet!

You sweet girls! We cannot believe you are already 8 months old! We are at a fun stage because you girls are so fun and easy to take with us places. You both love playing with your big brother and each other. You are both so different but so sweet!
