Week 48

Dear Tucker,

You wrapped up 2012 and brought in 2013 this week!

Sunday we headed back home after all the Christmas fun in PTC. We were all so tired...we all didn't sleep well while out of town. 

Sunday afternoon Grandpa, Grandma R, Aunt K and Aunt LK came to have Christmas with you since Grandpa and Grandma R weren't able to come Christmas Day because of the fog. 

Monday was New Years Eve...we spent the day playing and running some errands. 

Then we headed out for sushi...this is something that Mommy and Daddy do every New Years Eve and we loved having you at the table with us! :)

Tuesday was the first day of 2013 and it was spent at home playing and enjoying time all together. We went out for lunch and then went home to play some more. We took down all the Christmas decorations and you were sad that Mr. Snowman went into the attic. 

You are getting really good at waving! You wave all the time...you like to wave at the doggies, Mommy, Daddy, your toys, the bathtub, and out the windows. :)

Wednesday was errands and play time again. And Wednesday evening Aunt LK came to visit you. :) She helped give you and bath and get you ready for bed. You love playing with her.

Thursday was Mommy's last day of Christmas break. We woke up early to read and play and then went back down for a morning nap...both of us. :)

The rest of the day was spent playing with Daddy, Aunt LK and Lucy! (Ethel was gone to the groomers all day.)

Of course we ended the day with a bath and you always have so much fun! 

Friday Mommy went back to work, but it wasn't a long day so we got to play a lot. You loved playing with Daddy while Mommy was at work. You were having a lot of problems going to the bathroom towards the end of the week. We are thinking it's from drinking whole milk.

Also on Friday you turned 11 months old! I cannot believe how big you are getting...only one more month until you are 1! WOW!

Daddy gave you a bath in the middle of the day to try to help with you going to the bathroom...and you didn't mind one bit! :)

Saturday morning you woke up ready to play! :) Mommy fed you and then Daddy got up to play so Mommy could sleep a little longer. :) Daddy is so thoughtful! 

Then Aunt C and WRG came into town. We watched WRG while Aunt C went to go get a prenatal massage. :) Then we headed out to do some shopping.

You also got your first pair of shoes on Saturday! Some really cute gray and blue New Balances. :)

Putting these shoes on your little boy made you look SOOO BIG!

On Friday you did something for the first time and it was so cute...you whistled!!! And you did it more than once...and I got a picture of you on Saturday doing it...I need to get it on video...it's so cute!

Tucker John, you are such a blessing! You constantly are making us smile and laugh! We can't get enough of you. Even when you are not feeling well you still have such a great attitude. We love to watch how much you are learning...but we do want you to slow down with all this growing up!

We love you sweet boy!
