In the spirit of Christmas!

Hello friends! Can you believe that Christmas is 15 days away?!?!

We are excited to be celebrating our first Christmas married! :) We are planning on where were will be the whole 48 hours of the holiday!

Lots of big things have happened since the last time I posted...

I'm officially done student teaching!! YAY! My kids were super sweet my last day. Some brought me gifts and a lot of them made me home-made cards! Some of them cried which made me cry...it was a day full of mixed emotions!

We went to a very sweet wedding on Saturday..our dear friends Alex and Elyse got married on Saturday! It was a fun wedding filled with lots of love! I just loved seeing the families coming together to make the event so special. I hope that is what people saw at our wedding. When it's all said and done...family and friends really are the best things ever!

Monday was filled with not so fun stuff on my first day off...but life goes on. Eye appointments and oil changes...fun stuff.

So today I made my way up to our future area of living! I applied to three counties back in September but haven't heard anything because NO ONE is hiring now. So today I went to 20 schools to drop off my resume. Now I'm going to vent for just a second...but some people are just plain RUDE! I understand that principals are VERY busy people and I know that I'm NOT the most important person during their day. But there are some RUDE secretaries! I had at least 5 today treat me like dirt. Hasn't anyone told them not to chew their food while speaking to people...or talking in rude tones of voices? I even had one ask me if I've graduated high school!?!?!? Really lady? I hope that one day if I'm a sweet school secretary that I treat everyone that walks through our school doors with respect and actually treat them as though they are a human! Okay I'm done.

It's been nice to be able to iron my sweet husbands shirts and unload the dishwasher in a timely manner instead of rushed before hurrying to bed at night.

I'm getting excited about graduation...YAY! :)
