Aunt Marie

Marie Hite 1921-2008

My very sweet and dear Aunt Marie passed away yesterday. She was 87 years old, and one of my very favorite people in the entire world! She was basically my grandmother, she treated me and my sisters as though were her grand-daughters. My Aunt Marie had a very full life. She had 6 daughters, who are all very successfull! She is so special to me and my mom and sisters, that Eric knows our first girl will be named after her, Ava Marie. My Aunt Marie lived her life to the fullest, and I hope I can do the same. She was able to come our for our wedding...which I'm so thankful for. (She moved to CA about 10 years ago, so that limited the amount we got to see her. We used to see her all the time when she lived in Stone Mountain.) And she did not get sick until September, which I'm so thankful for. 3 of her daughters were with her when she went to Heaven. We will miss her so much, but I know I'll see her again someday.
