Tucker has always loved his crib and done so well in it. He's never tried to climb out of it and never cried when we put him in it.
When we went to the beach in June he slept in the "big bed" a few times for naps or to fall asleep at night. He's NEVER slept in our bed...we had even tried a few times for naps but the boy loves his crib. :) So we thought when we got home from the beach that would be a good time to make his crib into a toddler bed.
We did and he did great! He only got out one time and it was after a nap and all he did was stand by the door. Ha! He would just say our Mommy or Daddy when he wanted to get out of his bed and we would come in.
But we had another problem. We have a guest bed but no guest room. So, we decided to put the guest bed in TJH's room and make that his bed too. Whenever we have guest they will just stay in his room and he can sleep with us or in a Pack N' Play in our room.
We set up his room on Sunday and he slept Sunday night for the first time in his BIG BOY bed! He did great! He looked SO tiny in the bed. He helped us set it up and he was so excited about it!
We didn't put all the bedding on because he's so little and he doesn't really need all those covers anyway.
Our little boy is growing up so fast! :(
