We had a great long weekend!
Well expect for out little buddy getting sick.
Friday night we headed to see my Dad, R and my sisters. My dad's bday was in January but since he was traveling we celebrated Friday.
Tuck found a box to play with in his walker at Grandpa and Grandma R's house.
Saturday morning Tuck woke up with a 102 fever and it got up to 103.4. :( He didn't feel well at all. We were supposed to go to our dear friends 1st birthday party, but we had to stay home because TJH was too sick. And we didn't want to spread his germs.
We stayed home all day Saturday so TJH could rest and get better quick. His fever did drop to 101 by bedtime.
After I put TJH to bed I headed out to pick up some dinner! Really healthy right? ha!
Sunday we wanted to go to church but TJH wasn't better and we needed him to rest more.
After his morning nap we had to get out of the house! So we headed to Waffle House...TJH loves cheese eggs!
The pups loved having us all home this weekend! :)
Sunday afternoon GMama came to visit! She babysat TJH while the Mr. and I headed to the Taste of Athens! We celebrated the Mr.'s birthday with the Taste of Athens and a hotel night stay. It was such a fun night!!
There were over 50 local restaurants there and the food was amazing! We were in a food coma when we left! We were able to stay up to watch the final Downton Abby...and we were heartbroken! I won't share much for those of you that haven't caught up yet or haven't started watching it!
This is what we brought back to our hotel to have for later! YUM!
Monday we got to sleep in and that was wonderful! Then we headed back because we missed our sweet boy so much!
We played all afternoon! TJH was still feeling yucky. But loved having us back and getting to play with GMama for a little bit before she left.
We read so fun books!
And TJH ended Monday with playing with a new toy from our sweet neighbors! This boy loves the bath so any new bath toys gets him so excited!
It was a great long birthday weekend, even with a sick boy.
I am blessed to have a job that allows for long weekends every now and then...and thank you to all of our past Presidents!
