We have started Elf on the Shelf in my classroom!
My kids LOVE it! Yes, they are in 5th grade and don't really believe in Santa but they LOVE it!!!

My class named our elf, Charlie! I thought that was a super cute name!I'll keep you updated on what Charlie does in our classroom, and where he appears after returning from the North Pole each night!
I love Elf on a Shelf! I can't wait to start the tradition with our daughter. I'm surprised that you are able to use it in a classroom. Do you work in a public school? I'm studying to become a teacher and anticipate no flexibility when it comes to holiday celebrations, but maybe I'm wrong!
