EKH & OCH Week 32

Dear EK and O,

You girls made us smile a lot this week!

GMama kept you girls this week while Daddy finished up his last week of student teaching and Mommy worked. You girls sure do love your GMama! :)

EK, you are the BEST eater. You love anything we offer you, even peas now! :) You gobble up your breakfast and dinner every day.

Both of you girls do real belly laughs at Tucker...it's the BEST sound in the world!

Owie, you have been a little difficult in the sleeping department this week. We think it has to do with your teeth or the bad diaper rash you had for a couple of days this week. A couple of nights have been tough getting you down to sleep. And 3 nights this week you woke up at 3am and didn't want your passy or to be rocked...you wanted to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Mommy used to be VERY against this, but you're the baby and Mommy needs her sleep. :)

You girls just love passing toys back and forth to each other. And EK, as soon as you see your sister close by you smile SO big.

Owie, you took a baking soda bath and laid in the sun for a little bit because you had such bad diaper rash this week. It helped a lot and cleared up quick.

You girls don't really mind each other being in your personal space!

Friday when Mommy got home you both wanted me at the same time and both were fussy because of teething. But as soon as I got both of you in my lap you are good!

We headed to G and Pa's house for Easter weekend! You girls loved playing with your cousin A. And she LOVED helping and playing with you girls!

G gave you girls your Easter baskets on Saturday and you LOVED playing with all your new toys!

G kept you girls while we took your big brother TJH on a golf cart ride.

EK, you just LOVE your Daddy! :)

Sunday we headed to church and you girls did excellent!

Then we headed to Aunt J's for Easter lunch and an egg hunt!

You girls had a wonderful first Easter! :)

What a fun and special week! You girls are so social and love to be around family and friends!

We love you so very much precious girls!
love,
Mommy

Real Life with the H's

Life I've said before this is a journal/scrapbook for me and my family. Not everyone enjoys these videos, but I love documenting the small but wonderful moments with my kiddos. :) I know I may be a little bias but these are the best, cutest, sweetest babies in the whole world! They bring me SO much joy!

I just love that all three have their very own personality! :)

SWW!

 So What Wednesday
 So What Wednesdays!

Go over to Life After I 'Dew' for more fun links!
Here is what I'm saying So What to this week:
So What If ...
  • I've started to wear my hair curly again...it's more out of laziness from working out 1-2 hours everyday and I just don't want to spend anymore time on my hair! ha!
  • I'm so excited about school ending in 22 days! WHOOP!
  • We canceled our cable...I haven't noticed a difference at all...that just shows you how much TV I watch...I think the Mr. is having to take deep breaths! ha!
  • CRCT weeks stinks for us too even though our students don't take it...being quite and not having a normal schedule is awful!
  • I'm so depressed Scandal will be over as of tomorrow. :(
  • I have the best friends ever. Just saying!
  • Tucker cracks me up...he's just so much fun! I can't wait to spend my summer days with that little boy!
  • I haven't painted my nails in weeks...this is abnormal for me...but other things have taken my time.
  • I can't wait to move the girls into their room next weekend! (They've been in our master beedroom nook since they were born because of family staying in our guest room.)

    T is for Tucker!

I know a lot of my posts have to do with the girls. This is a scrapbook/journal and I documented Tuck's first year the same way I'm documenting the girls. But I do LOVE to updates about Tucker too! He's growing SO darn fast!

Some facts about Tucker at 26 months:
-He still sleeps like a champ! 12-13 hours at night and at least 1 2-2.5 hour naps and some days he still takes two naps.
-He repeats everything we say....EVERYTHING. :)
-He's still teething...I think we are almost done...last two teeth are coming in.
-Tucker loves to play with his baby doll and help take care of the girls...feeding, burping, rocking and holding them. :)
-He's starting to be able to dress himself.
-He wants to go "bye bye car" all the time! :)
-He's still very into Curious George but also loves Thomas the train and the movie Frozen.
-Tucker would stay outside if we let him! He loves to play ball, draw with chalk, blow bubbles and ride his cars outside.
-He LOVES his nanny E! :)
-He puts 4-5 words together now to talk...more than just 1-2 words at at time.
    - He knows about 8 letters(like which letter is the letter T and he will point and say the letter), he can count to 15...he does skip some numbers sometimes, he can say most colors but doesn't always tell us the correct color when asked. :)
-He's still a book worm! He loves to be read to, he loves to read independently and he enjoys reading to his sisters or stuffed animals. Some of his favorite books are: any book about trucks/cars, any book about animals, any pop up/flip up books, Llama Llama Red Pajama, Snuggle Puppy, Go Dog Go and many more!
-He refers to himself as "Tucker John"...which I LOVE!
-He's still pretty shy in large groups of kids, we are working on this by going and exposing him to activities with groups of kids.
-He still has his passy...we really try to limit it to the car and bed.
-He's a pretty good eater, he LOVES fruit. He will eat chicken, hot dogs, and sausage for meats. He loves eggs, cereal and rice. We can't get him to eat many veggies. We just keep offering them. He recently started eating pizza.
-He's a good independent player...he will play for a good amount of time by himself. We love to play with him but I think it's good for children to be able to play by themselves too.
-Overall he's just a happy kid! Always giving us hugs and kisses and telling us he loves us! We are SO blessed! :)

Here are some pictures of our sweet boy recently:

O my goodness do we love our little boy! He bring us so much joy and happiness! :)
