SNOWED In!

So we've been snowed in! Yes, in the good ol' south, we got SNOW and alot of it!!!

Sunday night it hit us and then trapped us in our homes until yesterday.

 

Good and bad! I wish I had prepared some projects to work on while being inside. But I did get to rest, read and watch tons of TV!

Here are some pictures I took over the past couple days!:

 Lucy and Ethel love the snow!

Ethel played so hard and got so cold, we had to wrap her up in my AU blanket! Perfect since we are the NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!!

 If you look closely at this picture, you will see that Ethel is standing ON TOP of the snow! She doesn't weigh enough to break the layer of ice on top of the snow!

 Our friends A and B came over for a bit on Tuesday, because they were so bored at home too! We played a good game of Monopoly and played in the snow!

SO What Wednesday!

• If I haven't worn make-up since Sunday...it's been SNOW WEEK! (Not just a snow day!)


• If I'm already reading books to prepare me for children. I'm a planner!


• If the Mr. and I have ventured out onto the icy roads...we have 4-wheel drive.


• If I scream with excitement each time I get the email there is no snow tomorrow!


• If I'm kind of sad I didn't get to start my grad classes this week because of the snow!


• If I can only watch Datelines and those scary shows with the Mr. I'm a scardy-cat!


• If hair extensions really interest me. Not that I need them, but I think it would be pretty cool!


• If I don't watch the news...it's depressing.


• If I haven't worn my contacts since Sunday too, what? It gives my eyes a break!


• If I listen to Enya while getting ready, it keeps me calm!

Today is a BIG day for this AU football fan!! WHOOOHOOO! AU is off to play in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game!!!

Snapshot Sundays

Rain Barrel

The Mr. asked for a rain barrel for his birthday! His birthday isn't until February, but his present came early!

If you don't know this about the Mr., he's got a very GREEN thumb! He LOVES to be in the yard planting and making our yard and other yards look wonderful! He had a lawn business in high school and college!

So with that being said, he asked for a rain barrel for his birthday, so this summer when there isn't any much rain in the good ol' south, he will be able to water his precious plants. :)

 The minute his gift arrived! The dogs are excited too!

Friends Forever

Today was a great!

Started out with a DD coffee...I woke up craving one!

Had a little drive out to see my bff!

Got to hold, feed, snuggle, play, burp, this sweet girl!!

 Such a good baby! She is so sweet! I cannot believe she is 10 weeks old! Growing up wayyy too fast!!

 These are the YUMMY fries I had at lunch...I didn't say they were healthy!

C and I had a great time just catching up in person! We talk everyday, but don't get to see each other everyday! It's so amazing to have a friend that I can tell ANYTHING to and know she won't judge me, look at me funny, or tell me I'm weird or wrong. She is so honest with me!

After spending a great day with C and W, I headed home. This is what I came home to:

Such a sweet husband! Yummy sushi at home on our Sushi for Two set from Crate and Barrel!
