It's Wednesday!

 So what if....

• I'm glad we will be done with our 2nd grade testing today.
• I thought I was all done with grad school work with this semester but I was wrong....ugh.
• I ready to be able to run and work out.
• I'm so over school right now...I know that sounds awful but this time of year is hard.
• I'm excited to start watching season one of Downton Abby!
• I'm lovin' that my arms are getting tan at recess! ha!
• I'm excited that our summer vacation plans are starting to come together. 
• I'm thankful for all that the Mr. does for me and TJH.
• I haven't straightened my hair in a week and I can't stand it curly right now, but my hair isn't number one on my things to do right now.

Monday evening I graduated from my provisional status in Junior League to an active member!

Tuck gave me some sweet hugs before I left for the ceremony and dinner.

I'm super excited about the committee I'm on for this year! 

And I can't wait to get more involved with the League!

Week 12

Dear Tucker,

You are such a sweet boy! You truly know who your Mommy and Daddy are! It's so cute how you react differently but so sweet to the two of us! I hope you know we are crazy about you! :)

This week started out with us coming back from SC. You did so good on the trip! And everyone loved lovin' on you! 

Monday, Mommy was able to see you more because I had jury duty and was deferred for six months. I enjoyed having an extended weekend with you.

Tuesday was Mommy's last grad school class for the semester so you got to spend the evening with Daddy. 

This week you have been holding your head up so well! It's not as wobbly and you like to sit up with assistance. Daddy has daily little exercises that yall do together. :)

Wednesday, Mommy got to spend all evening alone with you because Daddy had orientation for grad school and then went to hang out with friends.

You sat in your Bumbo for the first time this week! You seemed to love it!

You are just so happy, smiley and vocal now! It's so fun to talk and sing with you!

You like to hold your mini Sophie!

You are drooling so much and wanting to chew on your hands all the time.

You love looking at your feet and I feel as though you are trying to plot how to get them in your mouth!

You can sit up with Mommy and Daddy holding your hands.

At the end of the week you attended another special birthday party! :)

Mommy really enjoys coming home to your sweet face! You are so excited to see me! But you sure do LOVE your Daddy! It's so sweet to see you 

Yet another wonderful week with our sweet boy!

Exhaustion

I'm not one to complain much on my blog...but hey, it's my blog and I can write about what comes to mind...well today it's exhaustion....

I am more dead tired now than I was right after I had TJH. 

My body just hasn't gotten used to all of this. I am usually a go-getter and stay busy all the time but I have to slow down...I am so tired.

Falling asleep nursing isn't normal and not fair to my sweet boy. Not having energy in the afternoons to play with TJH is just horrible...I only see him a few hours a day. 

I know things will be better but I hope it happens quick. I don't like this at all.

Look at my baby!!! What a difference 6 weeks makes!!

I get so sad when I think about him growing so fast but then I remember that there are joys in every single age!

We had so much fun last night together! I didn't have to think about a grad school assignment or something else that I needed to do. I'm SO ready for summer with my sweet baby boy!

It's Wednesday!

 So what if....

• I'm counting down each and every day until summer!
• I cannot wait until Buffett this summer...what a fun night we will have!
• I am SO glad I'm done with grad school for this semester!
• I'm ready to spend endless hours with my sweet boy!
• I feel good when people commit on how calm of a mommy I am.
• I'm so glad that so many babies are being born recently! Now, that I'm a mommy it's even more exciting!
• I'm so glad CRCT testing is over for the older grades. We don't have to be silent all the time now! 
• I'm wanting a change with my hair, but I'm not sure what.
• I love my new calender for the next year...yes, I know I'm a total dork!

What are the chances?

So, yall know I had jury duty yesterday. Well, I got deferred...not excused... deferred. The judge said he's never had a juror that need to pump? What? Anyways...he was like you can come back in 3 or 6 months. I kindly told him that I would still be needing to pump at that time. But o well. See ya in September!

I used the rest of my day to grocery shop and spend time with Tucker. Well, on my way home from grocery shopping the Mr. called and said that Tucker was awake and very hungry. So I sped home...well that wasn't the best idea. I've never in my life gotten a ticket...in my 11 years of driving! Well, yesterday was a first! 52 in a 35! Not good at all. But what made me the most upset was the fact that the cop wasn't even in his car! Three cops were parked in a yard of an abandon house. He simply just walked out into the road and pulled me over. I was so mad!

Good news...tonight is the last time I have to go to campus for grad school! I only have 3 classes left until I graduate in December...and two are online and one is a practicum. So I won't have to leave my sweet boy to go to campus for class. This makes me so happy! And tonight marks the end of this semesters for me! 2 more semesters and I'm done with my masters! WHOOP! :)
