First Day!

I made it.

My first day in 2nd grade! WHOOHOO!

And I'm so sad I didn't get ONE picture. :(

I had my camera out and everything. O well.

I have 22 sweet 2nd graders!

Today was filled with lots of directions on how to do things in our classroom.

Hopefully they remember most of it for tomorrow!

I'm so tired! :)

I'll be going to bed super early tonight!!

13 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 13 weeks

Size of baby: large shrimp

Weight gain: 2 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Not yet...but it's getting uncomfortable now...so maybe soon.
Gender: Don't know yet. I'm really wanting to know!!

Movement: None yet.
Sleep: Sleep is okay, getting up a lot.
Symptoms: Starting to feel somewhat better...they don't lie about getting closer to your 2nd trimester starting to feel better....one more week!
What I miss: sushi
Cravings: Fruit
Best Moment this week: Going back to work and all my co-workers being so excited for us!
What I am looking forward to: Our next doc appt on August 8th...yay it's Monday!!

Bff's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Lauren!!!

Here we are last year celebrating her birthday at my house and we went down the river the next day!

Lauren and I have been BFF since my sophomore year of college! Roomies for two years and soo close! I'm thankful to have her in my life! She makes me laugh A LOT!

The Help

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I finished "The Help" Sunday night when I was supposed to be going to bed earlier for school. I just couldn't put it down!

What an amazing book?!!? I loved it!! I think I would be a lot like Skeeter in the 60's...or I hope I would be! I cannot wait for the Mr. and I to go see the movie next week!! I hope it's as good as the book!

• I'm lovin' going back to work!
• I'm really wanting to know what our sweet baby is!
• I am so happy I'll be done with my not fun online class on Sunday night! I know yall are sick of me talking about it!
• I'm excited about our busy weekend ahead...I needed the relaxing weekend we had this past weekend.
• I'm wanting to show a little bit more than I am so people don't think I drank a 24-pack the night before...yes, people I'm pregnant!
• I think it's so gross that I'm peeling...my skin doesn't ever peel...crazy pregnant hormones!
• I'm excited about meeting my students today!

3 wonderful years!

Today I have been a Mrs. for three wonderful years!

I cannot believe we are celebrating 3 years...to some that isn't long at all.

We've had so many wonderful things happen in the past three years.

Jobs.

Moving.

Buying our house.

Vacations.

Getting our pup.

Celebrations.

Holidays.

And now the biggest blessing...our baby.

I couldn't ask for a better partner in life. The Mr. is my best friend. He knows everything about me. He makes me laugh so hard. He's there for me when I'm sad or mad. The Mr. is my BIGGEST supporter!

Married life is wonderful. Some days aren't easy, but that's what makes it so great in the end. I've learned a lot about myself in the past three years. And of course a lot about the Mr.!

I love you Mr....today more than I did three years ago and I know my love for you and our family will grow even stronger in the next 80 years!

AUGUST!

Wow, I cannot believe we are in the 8th month of 2011! CRAZY!

(And I know this might be annoying but next August we'll have a 6 month old! YAY!)
