I got an award!

Last week in the midst of my emotional week I received an award from a very sweet blogger! I was so excited and it cheered me up and she didn't even know the week I was having! So, thank you Married...With a Pup!

Seven things about me:

1) I love Valentines Day!

2) My Mom always and still says to me, "LindsayAnn, Pretty IS as Pretty DOES." Great words to live by.

3) I want children really bad. Yes, I have 24 at school, but I want some of my own.

4) I don't react well when my routine is messed up. I know I need to be better about this.

5) I was taught to sew when I was 6 years old. I love to sew, I just need to make more time for it.

6) When I want to sleep in I like to sleep until I wake up, eat something yummy and then go back to bed. Not HEALTHY at all, but o well.  I only get to this like five times a year.

7) I need to rely on God wayyy more than I do.

1st Birthday!

Ethel Bernice is 1 year old today!!

Her middle name was given to her by her grandfather...Lucy Elizabeth's was also given to her by her grandfather!

I just can't believe it! My baby is so big! I literally remember the day I met her! Valentines Day last year! She was one week old!!

Here is our FIRST MEETING! So little!

Her breeder was so great, because we could go visit her as much as we wanted! It made the wait go by faster!

 

2 weeks old! SO precious! Getting to meet her sweet Aunt M!

Here is our sweet girl at 4 weeks old! Getting even cuter! We couldn't wait to get her home with us and Lucy!

Here she is at 6 weeks...I should have known then that she was going to be obsessed with her Daddy!!

Her first day at home! Lucy and Ethel meeting for the first time! O what a great day!

Since April 1st, 2010 our house has been filled with the spunk, love and fun of Ethel! Who knew that such a little thing would bring so much joy in our lives!

I'm overwhelmed by the support that I have from you all! Thank you so much for your kind comments and emails! I'm so blessed to have such a great community of friends. I'm so glad that I was so open and honest. I feel so much more peace about this whole situation. Big part is that I've given it over to the Lord and I have such great support from you all and my family and friends.

Catch UP!

Yes, I'm alive. Mr. is alive. Lucy and Ethel are alive.

The last week has been life changing.

The Mr. and I are fine...and STILL together.

The Mr.'s company laid him off last Friday.

He took is well, he's solid as a rock and is looking at the whole thing so positively! He wasn't happy for a while there so it's kind of a blessing in disguise. God is in CONTROL!

I'm getting better...I didn't take it well at all at first. Which I know is horrible and some of you may think I'm selfish, but I'm not. Just had a few moments.

Last Saturday we were supposed to go buy my new car because of my car being totaled in the accident.  So, when we got the news Friday we decided not to make that move. So, we are down to one car.

But all week he has been applying to MANY companies. And doing things around the house.

So my prayer is that he gets a call soon for some interviews! Once they meet him they will just have to hire him! :) God has a greater plan for us.

So that's part of the reason I've been missing in blog world. It actually was pretty hard to finally write this post. Because I think alot of bloggers (including me sometimes) only are the GREAT things going on in our lives. It's not that we are lying, but just choose to share the good happy parts. I know there are some bloggers that share it all, and some of their blogs are my favorite to read. But I'm slowly getting there. I don't want my blog to be a place of complaining and whining. But also, I've formed friendships through my blog and I know some of them truly care about what is going on in my life.

Thank you for listening. I promise this week will be back to normal here at Diving Into Love! I do have fun things to share, but I wanted to get the ugly thing out of the way first.
