Flyin'

My sweet in-laws came into to town to visit us! It was so fun just to catch up with them.

They flew their plane into the little airport in our town! Before we headed out to do lunch, errands and more we went up in the plane!

Of course there is a bulldog at the airport.

The family plane!

What will people say?

What will people say about you when you die?

I know that is a pretty morbid question...but it comes to mind alot. Also the picture above reminds me of that question too!

This picture is from Nana's memorial. Her four children and all of their children and all of their children and then some family members. ALOT of people who were related to sweet Nana. What did we all say when Nana went to heaven? All WONDERFUL things of how she lived to serve Jesus and how she made us all laugh and always had a positive attitude!

I think about what will people say about me? This is a good way for me to keep myself in check as much as I can. Will they remember the positive? Will they remember the good I did for others?

Happy Friday!

"Man of the Sea"

First of all, I hope no one thought yesterdays post was sad. I just want to be better about being thankful of what God has given me each day! It's only natural to plan ahead and sometimes it's necessary, but I want to enjoy each thing the Lord has given me each day.

Today is the Mr.!
My sweet mother-in-LOVE sent this picture to me randomly this past week. The subject line was "Man of the Sea". It just melted my heart!

For many reasons....

1. My husband is the CUTEST thing ever!!! Now and even so when he was little!!!! I cannot wait to have children so they will (hopefully) be as CUTE as he was when he was little!!!

2. The love his father has for his children! My father-in-law LOVES his kids with his whole being! He has taught them so many wonderful things in their lives. And all things nautical would be what he has mostly taught them! :) I look forward to my children having him as a grandpa to teach them all of those wonderful things too!

3. Family memories...I have so many great family memories and the Mr. and I are making them as we speak! :) The Mr. has wonderful memories of his childhood and I cannot wait to create memories for our children.

Plans...

Are you a planner?

Do you plan your day way ahead of time?

Do you lay out your clothes for the week?
Do you plan your meals for the week?

Do you think about holiday plans months before they take place?

Do you plan out specials days in your head months before they take place...meeting your spouse, wedding, babies, retirement?

I think sometimes I get wrapped up in plans...I need to enjoy each day and not keep thinking about the next.

Your Move

My church is in the middle of this series. It's a really good message. It's all about making the next move in a decisions.

This verse really struck me from this weeks message:

"May the Lord be our judge and decide between us. May He consider my cause and uphold it; may he vindicate me by delivering me from your hand." 1 Samuel 24:15

Life As We Know It

The Mr. and I went and saw this movie this past weekend. Very cute! Actually taught good life lessons and wasn't too dirty. If you haven't seen it, go! :)
