My students wrote their own plays last week and then performed them! It was so fun to see some writers that struggle with topics and don't necessarily enjoy writing, well they came alive with witting plays! It was a blast and I think they learned alot!

Okay, so I have been blogging, but maybe not the most FUN blogging!

I had an extra minute, well not really, but I fit it in this evening!

Things have been busy, they are for EVERYONE, but I hate that I haven't been a very exciting blogger!

So two weekends ago was Easter...as you may have known! haha!

We traveled to our hometown...aren't we so lucky to have the same hometown!?

We had our new baby in tow! We were like proud parents all weekend, I mean we were, but you know what I mean! Dog-parents!

Here is Ethel with her NEW bed that her GMama gave her!! (GMama is the Mr.'s mom)

We celebrated Amie's birthday early, so it was an Easter/Amie's birthday celebration!

I'm won't be away too long again. We are doing alot of things around our house this weekend, so I'm sure I'll have things to blog about!

I know you're on the edge of your seat waiting for a new post. I promise I'll update you soon. Just my busy life kicking in again.

Few things:
We hung a light this weekend in the kitchen...fail---too low.

• Ethel is getting better and better each day pottying outside.




• 28 days of SCHOOL!




• I went through the orientation yesterday to serve in the UpStreet ministry at our church...it's for kids K-5...I am so excited to see what God has in store for me.




• My sweet husband, washed and vacuumed my car for me.




• I got in a finder-bender yesterday...noone was hurt, just the cars a little bit. (And my back.)




• I finally found white linen pants...I've only been looking for like 4 years...no seriously...I have.




• We've been walking/running the pups every night and they LOVE it. Poor Ethel has to run the whole time if she wants to keep up with her big sister!




• Sitting outside to read while my husband plants is probably one of my FAVORITE things right now!




• O, I finally found my FAVORITE ice cream at the local grocery store that Mr. doesn't like me to shop in, it's gross, so I wouldn't want to either...but they carry Blue Bell-BIRTHDAY CAKE ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (All of the other stores stopped carrying it.)




• I love lists....as you can see!

Just a quick little post:

I think it's too funny when my students accidentally call me: "Mamma" "Mommy" "Ma" "Grandmother" "Grandma"

I remember doing that when I was in school. Kind of embarrassing as a kid, but it's sweet being the teacher. They are with me as much or more as they are with their parents.

Baby Ethel!

So, she is all ours now!!!

I picked baby Ethel up yesterday afternoon on my way home from work! I was like a kid on Christmas morning...I couldn't get there fast enough to pick her up! She was so excited when she saw me!

The ride home was fun, she wanted to look out the window the whole time! She is a smart little girl!

All her official paperwork, and the envelope that I saved all the money in for her! The breeder gave us the food and toy!

This was after small group last night, she was so tired! So many people to meet!

And she is such a lady, always crossing her legs!

It was so fun to take her to small group for everyone to meet her! She is very sociable! Our friends M and J gave us the a "Welcome Home Ethel" basket and it is just precious! Filled with treats, toys, carpet cleaner and mini tennis balls! So thoughtful of them! We can't wait for Ethel and Athena Jean to play next weekend!!

We have a fun filled weekend of showing our new baby off! We can't wait for our families to meet her tonight!
