Wow...I'm sorry. I usually don't go this long without updating.

I had a very busy week last week. And now my computer has died. My laptop that I've had all through college with all of my wonderful pictures of every event in college and the most important...my wedding day. Also my music. Every single song I've download. I'm sick to my stomach. I'm so upset.

So this post won't have any real pictures that I've taken. :(

When I was in the Keys two weeks ago I saw Guy Harvey dishes. I almost bought them for the Mr. but then I thought no, we have dishes. Well I told him about them and he was like order them...I would love them! He is pretty much obsessed with Guy Harvey. We got them in the mail late last week and to say the least...Mr is sooo happy and had eaten off of them every chance he gets!

So this weekend one of my best friends Courtney came to town to visit! We had planned this visit about 2 months ago so we both were very excited!!! We had not seen each other since September. With us both being so busy and she being engaged, we just hadn't seen each other in forever! I'm in her wedding in June and couldn't be more excited!

Saturday morning Eric sent me out to get a mani and pedi and I was so excited! So while I was out he was up to no good!! I got back and he had this in our living room floor.

I was so excited because both of us are used to vacuuming with Melie vacuums. My mom sold them for many years and literally lives by what they do! They are the most amazing vacuum ever!! So I was extremely excited about owning our own!! And the house was super clean when our guest arrived!

Courtney and I headed out to the outlet malls because she was shopping for dresses for her upcoming wedding showers. We found her three great dresses!! And I got some birthday presents, my Easter outfit and the Mr. some new shorts! It was a great shopping trip! After our long day of shopping we came back to Athens and had dinner with Eric. It was a great evening!

Sunday the Mr and I spent our day with Lucy! We took her to the dog park and played. She also got her own Krispy Kreme donut...I wasn't too happy about that. O well.

All in all we had a wonderful week and weekend! I'm off to work again today.

Crazy week...got a call Tuesday morning that I wouldn't be needed to nanny for the rest of the week. So I kind of sat at home all day and did random things. Eric got home from work and I said to him, "man I wish I had known I wasn't working this week so I could have gone down to the boat with your family". He looks at me and says..."why don't you?!?" This was at 5:30...I was on a plane to Miami at 9pm the same night!! I picked up a rental car and made my way to the boat arriving in Key Largo at 1:30am. YAY!! I was only able to stay until Thursday afternoon but it was a great two day vacation!

I had a wonderful time getting out of Athens and spending some time in the saltwater and sun!Amie and I flew back Thursday evening and I headed straight to "Running of the Brides"!

One of my best friends, Hannah is getting married February 2010...she actually just won a FREE wedding a week and half ago. Well we went to an event called "Running of the Brides" Thursday night until Friday morning. A store in Atlanta has about 2,200 wedding dresses for EXTREME discount!! Like $9,000 dresses for about $500. People come from all over and camp out until the store opens and then they all literally RUN to get the dresses. Our team had 17 people and we were the 6th team in line! Most of our team arrived at 3pm on Thursday. The store didn't open until 8am Friday. We had so much fun and I only got about 30 min of sleep! It was insane! But so worth it!!!

Lauren came the morning of because she had her wisdom teeth out earlier in the week and wasn't feeling well...but she came and helped SOO much!

Hannah actually won a contest with Q100 and we got to go in first for 15 min before ANYONE else was in! It was SOOO awesome!!!

Let me tell you though...brides-to-be can be SOOO ugly when it comes to finding the dress of their dreams under these circumstances!!!! We had people stealing our dresses and trying to get inside of our circle and stealing our mirror. But all in all it was SO fun and Hannah found her dream dress or dresses! She bought two because she has time to decide and plus they were only $250 each!!! Who can beat that price!?!?!

All in all I had a great week! I was so happy to arrive back home to Mr. and Lucy. I think they both missed me and actually missed my cooking. Mr. said he ate hot dogs for two of the nights I was gone.

No worries...I'm back and looking forward to my next trip to the boat and next wedding event for one of my best friends! :)

We are dog-sitting Coral this week! Lucy and Coral LOVE each other!! I think Coral loves Lucy a little bit more than Lucy loves Coral. Here are a few pictures of the girls playing!

Eric and I headed to Blue Ridge, Georgia this weekend with 5 other couples. There was 12 of us in a cabin that slept 16! It was such a HUGE cabin! We all brought food and had a great time hanging out and playing games! It rained ALL weekend so we weren't able to do some of the activities that we wanted but we still had a WONDERFUL time!

Fun/Busy Weekend!

Eric and I headed to Peachtree City on Friday night after I got off work. We got in late and went to bed because Saturday was filled with many things to do!

Saturday we got up and did ALOT of things! Got everything ready for the baby shower I was throwing on Sunday, got everything done for Lacey Kate's birthday and much more! Saturday night we spent with my family celebrating Lacey Kate's 14th birthday! We had yummy nachos and if I might say a yummy cake made by me! :)

Sunday morning was busy as well! Last minute touches on the shower stuff! Then we were out the door! Eric helped me so much to get everything ready for the shower!

Lauren, Lexie, Hannah and I all hosted the shower for Elyse! She is due at the end of April and is having a sweet baby girl--Audree Rose!

The Bachelor

Okay okay okay... I know I'm upset over a TV show but listen...I invested 6 weeks of my life into this show and this is what I get!?!?!?

The last two women were Melissa and Molly. I really liked both but felt like Molly was more right for Jason.

Jason picked Melissa. He proposes. And then 6 weeks later on national TV he dumps her! WHAT?!?! Then brings Molly out and tells her he made a mistake and loves her! Then....she takes him BACK!!!! What the heck?!?!? I love Molly and wanted Jason to pick her from the beginning but not like this! I mean...your sloppy seconds!?!? You can do better than that Molly!!!

I'm so glad that Dancing With The Stars starts next week...hopefully that show won't disappoint me.

ABC...not many people are going to watch The Bachelor anymore after last night!

Snow Day 2009

Wow what a day! Who thought it would snow in Georgia on March 1st!! It was beautiful but very SCARY as well!

Me and Eric were in Peachtree City and quickly headed back to Athens. I've never been more scared riding in the car. 316 is the main road to Athens and it was AWFUL! We saw a total of about 25 cars in the ditches! 3 car accidents! And when we got to Athens there was NO power anywhere!!! I thought for a little bit we might now make it home! But Eric got us home safely!! Thank goodness...I did alot of praying on the way home!!

Our power has flicked all night. We actually are lucky to have power...we are hoping it stays on! All the schools are cancelled here tomorrow including the University of Georgia. Totally a true SNOW DAY tomorrow! YAY!
