Week 43

Dear Tucker,

We are so thankful for a week with our healthy baby boy! You truly healed up this week! We are so glad that you started to feel better! 

Sunday we headed home from being away for 7 days. We were all happy to be home and sleep in our own beds. 

You started to hold your bottle all by yourself. :) Big boy!

Monday you played at home in the morning with Daddy!

Daddy sent this picture to me with the funniest story...Daddy was letting the dogs out and he said he had cracked the door. He said he turned around and you had opened the door and was starting to come out. Guess you wanted to play with the doggies! 

Since our Thanksgiving wasn't so fun we decided that we need to moved onto Christmas quickly! :) We had a busy week ahead so I told you and Daddy to go get our Christmas tree while I was at work. Daddy let you pick out the tree and you picked the perfect tree! :)

We got a smaller tree this year, because we didn't want a huge one that could hurt you if it fell. But you've been so good about the tree...you actually haven't really gone near it at all. 

We got out your Christmas pjs! You love when I say, "Santa says, HO HO HO! Merry Christmas!" :)

Tuesday was spent decorating the tree and playing a lot!

Your Aunt A and cousin A came up on their way back home. 

Wednesday was a fun day with Aunt A, A and GMama. :)

You helped Daddy with the lights! :)

We also got your bedroom Christmas tree all set up! Your tree is filled with nautical ornaments! 

You love A!

Thursday you spent a lot of time with GMama...Daddy is in the thick of finals and final projects. So you were happy to play with GMama. :)

You love sharing your food with your baby sister Ethel! 

Also on Thursday you recived your FIRST Christmas present! 

Our sweet friends B, B, and baby C sent you the cutest jacket!! So perfect your initials and a giraffe! B knows how much you love giraffes! :)

Daddy sent me this funny picture, you have sleepy eyes from waking up from a nap. :)

While eating your avocado you decided that it would be good for your hair! :) ha!

Friday afternoon we headed to see Dr. G for your follow-up appt. He was very pleased with how you looked and sounded. :) We were too! 

Saturday was a fun day! You stood up in your crib for the first time! Mommy ran in to take your picture! :)

Then on Saturday evening we headed over to J and T's house for their Gender Reveal party! :) You found out that you're getting a best friend...a boy! :)  

After getting ready for bed you heard Daddy calling the dogs and you wanted to go see him one last time before bed. :) So we blew kisses from upstairs to Daddy!

We are so glad this week was filled with Christmas traditions and fun times. We are so excited about spending this holiday season with you. We love watching you get excited about new things. 

We love you so very much TJH! We will never take your health for granted! We are so thankful that you've bounced back so quickly. :)
