Week 26

Dear Tucker,

So, Mommy went back to work. :( But, you lucky boy get to stay at home with Daddy! :)

Sunday was spent trying to get you well...lots of rest and love!
We were excited to go to church because we were in town but with your virus we needed to stay home.

Monday, Mommy was off to work for the 2012-2013 school year! And you were starting your year off with Daddy at home! :) 

We had a little fun photo shoot before Mommy went to work! :) I love making you smile/laugh!

You two had a wonderful day together! And Daddy was so great about sending me pictures of you!

You had NO fever all day Monday, so we were very happy that you seemed to be getting better!

You tried carrots for the first time with Daddy! Daddy said you liked them!

You LOVE to eat your toes! They must taste so good! ;)

Mommy was SO excited to see you when I got home from work and you were too! You squealed and grabbed my face and just planted your head on my shoulder! It was so sweet!

We played a lot before it was bath time!

And you LOVE to play with Mommy's phone!

Tuesday you went to Home Depot with Daddy and T! Daddy said you played while they shopped for manly house stuff!

And you greeted me with the biggest smile and squeal on Tuesday afternoon!

You love to be naked! ha! 

You started acting like you didn't feel well again on Tuesday evening. And all of the sudden you had another fever. :( You also hadn't gone to the bathroom since Sunday...so we had to give you a suppository so that you would go. And it worked right away. 

You were so cuddly and sweet even though you didn't feel well again.

Wednesday you woke up happy and with no fever. 

You had a octopus party in the afternoon with Daddy! Mommy couldn't attend the party because I was at work. 

You are starting to blow/spit bubble and it's so cute! 

You're favorite song right now is the ABC's...it's always been one of your favorites but this week if Mommy sings it you squeal and smile so big. 

Even though you've been sick this week you have still been such a sweet boy. You hardly ever cry. I hope you stay this calm all of your life. 

You LOVE to grab things off the table while Mommy and Daddy are eating. And you love cold glasses...you want to drink out of them but we haven't let you do that yet because you are still only drink breast milk.  

Thursday morning you went back to the doctor. We found out that the Entervirus turned into Hand Foot Mouth Disease and you had an ear infection in your left year. Mommy was so upset to hear this news. Dr. G gave you an antibiotic for the ear infection and told us to keep giving you Advil for the fever from the Hand Foot Mouth Disease. 

Even though you've had a fever for over a week you still are such a good baby and smile all the time! :)

You're getting really good at sitting on your own. :)

And you LOVE to read your books!

After Mommy's presentation at work on Friday, we Facetimed. It was so fun! You were so excited to see Mommy on the phone!

Friday night we spent low-key. We were supposed to head up to the mountains for the weekend with our dear friends, but you were just too sick to go. Our focus is to get you better quick!

Baths always cheer you up! :)

On Saturday you had your 1/2 birthday! Sweet boy, Mommy cannot believe that you are 6 months old! 

This was the first week of your life that you were sick. We are praying for a quick recovery. It breaks our hearts to see you sick. We love you so much TJH!
