Week 9

Dear Tucker,

WOW! 2 months old! Time sure does fly when you're having the time of your life! 

Sunday was a wonderful day! We went to church, brunch with friends, and then your first Easter Egg Hunt! You didn't actually hunt eggs this year, but you did watch the other children!

You and K had on matching outfits and Mommy and M didn't even plan it! :)

Monday we weighed you at Bundles of Joy and you were 13lbs 4oz! WHOOP! Such a growing boy! You loved watching the other babies that can sit up play! Soon you'll be sitting up sharing toys with them, but Mommy doesn't want you to grow up too fast! :)

Your squeals this week have made Mommy smile so big!

Tuesday evening you played a BIG role in Mommy's grad school project! I had to come up with an invention for class. I invented a belt that holds all the things you need to change a diaper. I used you as my part of my demonstration! You did an excellent job and Dr. H loved being able to meet you!

Yawning before bed! :)

Wednesday you officially turned 2 months old! We headed to your 2 month appt first thing. You weighed in at 13lbs 4oz(same as Monday) 23 3/4 inches long! 90%tile for weight and 75%tile for height!! BIG healthy boy!! Dr. G was very pleased with your growth and development! You had to have three shots...Mommy was so sad. You did great. You cried but as soon as Mommy picked you up and sang to you you calmed down. You were sleepy for most of the day. We met C and W for lunch and you enjoyed seeing them! :)

Thursday was spent hanging out and then heading to an Egg Hunt at Mommy's school.
While Mommy went grocery shopping you and Daddy played! :)

He hooked up your Johhny Jumper and you had a blast! You are a lil small for it, but Daddy set you up where you were safe and you had a blast! :)

 First, Mommy had to meet with Mrs. L and Mrs. V to work on grad school stuff, you were so good for Mommy! Mrs. L held you the whole time and you just loved on her! :) Then we headed outside for the hunt, but it started raining the minute we got out there. You were just happy hanging out in your stroller listening to the other children.

Mrs. K made a cute bunny cake for everyone to enjoy after the hunt!

You did good after your shots, but your naps during the day were messed up for two days, but Mommy didn't mind you sleeping on me. :)

Will you be a DAWG like Mommy and Daddy??

Friday was fun, Mommy baked and iced cakes most of the day and you hung out with me while I did it. Then in the evening we went to dinner with K, C and WRG! You had fun and loved when WRG said, "Tuck!" Mommy was bad and didn't take one picture. :(

Saturday was a very fun day! You attended your very first birthday party of a friend! L turns ONE on Sunday and we got to celebrate today! L's mommy did such a good job with his party! It was a circus theme and SOOO cute! Mommy made the cakes and cupcakes for the party. You had fun being held by our friends and watching the bigger babies!

Yet another wonderful week with our handsome baby boy! You truly are the sunshine our life! Being your Mommy is the best thing I've ever done in my entire life. I pray everyday that I do the BEST job I can and show you the kind of love that God shows us all.
