Week 4

Dear Tucker,

Tomorrow you will be ONE MONTH old! O goodness! I have to say this has been the best month of our lives.

Our week started out with a lil hoop to jump through. You started projectile vomiting this past weekend and crying a lot when going to the bathroom. We began to get very concerned because you are such a happy baby. We took your temperature a lot, but you never ran a fever. We looked online and thought it might be acid reflux. So, we call your doctor first thing on Monday morning and got an appt. Your doc did confirm that you have mild acid reflux and gave you Zantac. Just after taking one dose we could tell a difference. We are glad that there was a fast solution because we did not want you hurting at all. We pray that this passes quickly and you just grow right out of it.

But after the doc you ate at Waffle House for the first time. :) Well you didn't eat, but you enjoyed going with Mommy and Daddy!

Later on Monday we went to Bundles of Joy(our breast feeding group) and you weigh 9lbs 9oz now! Big boy! :) Then your GMama and Grandpa came into town to see you! We spent the evening going to dinner and ice cream and then we all watched a movie while you slept.

Tuesday was a fun day too! We spent the morning with GMama and Grandpa and then later in the afternoon Mommy had to leave you again for grad school. But you did great with Daddy!

Since you've gotten bigger you were able to put this special outfit on! Your Daddy wore this outfit when he was a little baby like you! You looked so handsome in your special outfit! :)

You had some more visitors this week! Three friends that Mommy works with came by at different times! Bringing dinner, your first Easter present(a very cute doggie wearing bunny ears) and some chocolate for Mommy.

Towards the end of the week we tried out the Baby Bjorn for the first time this week and you loved it! We went to a consignment sale at the YMCA and strollers are not allowed so we put on the Bjorn and took off! You just slept the whole time. :)

Mommy and Daddy(mostly with Daddys work) sent out your baby announcements to all of our family and friends at the end of the week...we were excited about how they turned out. Expect Daddy made an oops...he accidentally put that you were 8lbs 15.9oz and you were actually 7lbs 15.9oz...o well! ha! :)

Your sister Ethel just loves you! She does the cutest thing when we get home from going somewhere...we have to put your car seat down on the floor so she can smell you...we think she is checking to make sure you are okay! And if you cry in your room she will run upstairs and sit outside of your door. Ethel was even looking at your on your monitor! Lucy is starting to show that she loves your more...don't worry she did the same thing with Mommy...she really is just a Daddy's girl!

On Thursday night you slept for 7 hours straight! Such a good sleeper. You didn't nap much at all on Thursday during the day but sure made up for it that night.

You are starting to make the cutest facial expressions!

The week ended with a fun trip the local mall. Mommy and Daddy got to spend a gift card on you to get you some cute clothes! :)

You are such a good baby and love going and doing things with us. We love you so much Tucker John!
